In August 1976, in Blackwood, New Jersey, a woman named Olivia went on horseback riding with her daughter. At some point, they found themselves in a strange place, where an unusual silence reigned. All the sounds of the forest disappeared, and this alerted Olivia. On top of that, the horses began to get nervous and out of control, and then something more nightmare than reality appeared in front of them.
A creature about two meters tall appeared nearby, with its back facing them, with which it rubbed against a tree. At first, the woman thought it looked like a dog riding a horse. The creature headed off into the distance along the path that Olivia was riding, and she and her daughter carefully followed. But the horses could not remain calm. They began to go crazy, make loud sounds, and then the creature turned around.
He had white hair, black spots on his thighs. Horns grew from his head, and his eyes filled with a red glow. His nose resembled a pig's patch, and his hands had long claws. It jumped onto the trail, arms out to the side, as if about to attack the women. All this time Olivia was in a kind of trance, but when the creature rushed to them, her daughter screamed, and then the woman came to her senses. The creature tried to grab one of the horses by the tail, but they managed to escape.
