An ordinary inhabitant of the English city of Burton upon Trent was extremely puzzled when he saw an unknown figure standing on the banks of the Trent River a hundred meters away.
John Anderson says he was recently sailing on a boat with his son Lewis when they saw something strange on the shore. A white human silhouette, coming from nowhere, stood among the bare winter vegetation and seemed to be looking directly at our heroes. Father and son once photographed the alleged ghost and hurried away from there. John told the media:
I rode with my son in an inflatable boat, and we were about to return home when we noticed a mysterious white figure near the water. To be honest, I don't know exactly what she looked like, because this Something was relatively far from us. The figure looked like a man and stood out strikingly against the background of the surrounding landscape. It was not very pleasant. Lewis and I were just putting on our boots to head back. The most incomprehensible thing is that the white silhouette appeared there literally out of nowhere. If someone approached the shore, we would have noticed him earlier. And here he seemed to materialize near the water in an instant. I believe there are phenomena in the world that cannot be explained rationally.
Local Burton Mail reporters sent the photo to British psychic and supernatural researcher Ian Griffiths. The specialist carefully studied the mysterious frame and made the following conclusion:
The image is definitely genuine and has not been touched up. I am assuming that the photograph captures the spirit of a young woman aged 24-25. People often drown on Trent, so the ghostly activity is very high here. In addition, magical rituals were once performed here. For example, the famous witch Andressy Bridge, known in our area, came here in the late 17th and early 18th centuries to conduct her dark rites. Someone even says that she sacrificed other people's newborn children.
It is very curious that in July last year, on this very river, a similar white figure was photographed by the fisherman Clive Lloyd, who also lives in Burton upon Trent. Therefore, the version that John Anderson and his son encountered a ghost is very great.
