The ghosts were seen in the regional court, in the hospital for war veterans, in the Eye Microsurgery MNTK and in some apartments of Irkutsk residents
The hospital was built in Yubileiny in 1996. However, not so long ago they began to notice that something was amiss. Stomp from nowhere, swinging doors, self-rolling distribution table - such phenomena occurred in a medical institution for veterans. The hospital staff told us the stories.
Once, two women sat in the hospital until late in the evening - they were preparing a report. Colleagues were sitting at a desk with a telephone on it. Suddenly the telephone receiver went up. After a while, she sank down by itself. The tube made this movement several times.
Until now, many people remember the story of one of the hospital workers, how the refrigerator door opened without any help from human hands. No one was standing next to the refrigerator. The woman was alone in the room, and suddenly the door opened with force, sprung and slammed shut.
One night, at about 12 noon, the hospital guard lay down on the sofa. Suddenly, newspapers rustled near his ear, he raised his head, and the newspapers lay crumpled on the floor.
Nobody is trying to explain these phenomena, everyone simply refers to evil spirits. Several times the church has come to the hospital to consecrate the building, but some signs of the presence of something otherworldly still remain. True, the hospital staff think that all the troubles come from the fact that the building was built in a swamp. Perhaps this swamp is the reason for the appearance of ghosts in the hospital
Regional Court
At night in the courthouse on Proletarskaya Street (opposite the circus), something strange begins to happen. People who are on duty at this time in the building have repeatedly encountered something otherworldly. It was they who told about the ghosts of the regional court.

Perhaps the reason lies in the fact that there was a cemetery on the site where the courthouse is now located. Perhaps human remains appeared on this territory after a major fire in 1879 - then 75 blocks in Irkutsk burned out, many people died. Human bones are still periodically found in the basement of the court. Historians also put forward a version that the remains may belong to people who died in the 30s, during the period of repression or during the Civil War
MNTK "Eye Microsurgery"
Many children who are being treated at the MNTK often tell doctors that they see someone. One boy said to a nurse: "Some uncle blew in my ear tonight." Other patients periodically say that they saw silhouettes of people, and at night someone presses on their chest. 24-hour nurses say that they constantly hear footsteps and rustles at night. They also told how at night one of them saw something terrible in the operating room: - Elvira (name has been changed. - Author's note) was in one of the rooms of the operating unit, there was nobody but her. She turned and saw a little girl at the table.
The girl reached out for a cookie in a vase on the table. Elvira screamed, and the girl turned into an old man and left. The nurse sat with the guards all night in shock.
Another story is no less frightening. It happened to Lydia, who now no longer works at the MNTK. A young woman walked along the Microsurgery corridor, and from the other end a tall old woman in black long clothes was moving towards her. When they drew level, Lida turned around, but the woman was gone. A few days later, Lydia's husband died. Then she told her colleagues that the meeting with this woman was not accidental.
And the nurse Julia told the story, after which she completely believed in ghosts, although she used to treat stories about evil spirits with distrust and with a grin.
- It was ten years ago. I was sleeping at home and suddenly for some reason woke up. I turn my head, and there is a man's head on the bedside table … It was very unpleasant for me. I started mumbling something there, and she disappeared.
The building stands in an old cemetery. That is why, the employees of the IRTC are sure, they are worried about ghosts
Brownie
One may or may not believe in brownies, but the Glazkov family knows for sure that they have one. They even came up with a name for him - Nafanya. Svetlana Glazkova says that a brownie has been living with them for many years and periodically makes itself felt. Nobody is afraid of him anymore - they treat him like a family member. Nafanya manifests her existence like many others: sometimes the light suddenly turns on in the apartment, water taps open, floorboards creak, vents swing open.
The Glazkovs often told their friends about their household, but they did not believe. Once they left the apartment for one of their comrades, and went to visit their parents.
Andrey came into the house and went to bed. Suddenly water rustled in the kitchen, he got up and closed it. I began to fall asleep, but then someone ran across the creaking floor. The man got up, turned on the light, walked around the apartment - no one. I lay down again. And then the worst thing happened: Nathan ran across the room, jumped onto the windowsill, jumped from it onto the bed and blew sharply into Andrei's ear. The shock of a 30-year-old male skeptic is beyond description! More than one Andrei did not spend the night in this apartment - it is too scary.
Poltergeist in the apartment
In a wooden house on the street of Fighters of the Revolution on November 17, 2006, things suddenly started to light up by themselves: in a few days the top covers of all the sockets and switches in the house burned out, in front of the eyes of the residents a powerful flame flashed here and there several times a day. Things in the hallway caught fire, a children's jacket on an armchair, clothes in a wardrobe, blankets and much more flared up. The family lived in constant fear - they would not burn down with the house.
