- I sit, watch TV, - Vasif Gafarov recalls how it all began. - Suddenly the door opposite me opened and slammed shut. Then the next one. Then the curtain was pulled back … And so several times. Maybe I would not have paid attention to this if the doors were open from a draft. But they have handles that need to be pressed down. It became uncomfortable … "Yes, your roof has gone!" - twisted a finger at his temple, my older brother, when I told him about it.
Almost seven years have passed since then, but only recently did the man prove to his brother and the rest of the skeptics that a baraashka lives in his house. Although he was not going to prove anything. The little drum itself "lit up".

Vasif Gafarov, a 39-year-old Azerbaijani, has been living in the Poltava region for almost 20 years. I came to visit my brother, who, after serving in the army, married a local girl, and he himself stayed. Having created his own family, he settled in Gadyach. First, Vasif and his wife Yulia rented an apartment, and after saving up money, they bought an empty hut opposite the city cemetery.
When incomprehensible things began to happen in the renovated house, the couple learned that earlier (maybe a hundred, maybe two hundred years ago) there was also a churchyard in the place where their yard is. Before, a healer lived in this house, after her - a very pious woman, whose relative sold them the hut. But, when the brownie settled in it, the Gafarovs do not know.
Vasif says that he was not the only one who noticed strange things. Several times he and his wife were woken up in the middle of the night by her younger sister, who lived with them for three years, while studying in Gadyach. “I feel that someone is sitting next to me on the bed,” Lena scared her relatives. The owner walked into her bedroom, turned on the light, checked if there was anyone there, and calmed the girl: "It seemed to you."
In such cases, it is recommended to consecrate the dwelling. The Gafarovs invited an Orthodox priest, and calm reigned in their house for a couple of years.
The din rose again after the family finished building several rooms. The couple had a second child and needed to expand. Either they disturbed the spirit that was dormant somewhere nearby, or he grew bolder again. Anyway, the brownie is back.

Vasif says that their brownie is not angry, but playful. It used to be, boxes with fruits and vegetables in the warehouse (a man is engaged in wholesale trade) scatters, then doors will rattle, then dishes … The owner tries to appease him and even knows his culinary preferences. The meat and eggplant kebabs left for the drum always disappear by the morning on the table near the warehouse. However, it is possible that they are eaten by dogs, of which several live with the Gafarovs. But nobody saw it.
- The mystery is why the brownie most often enters the last door in the warehouse, - says Vasif's brother Spasif makes a helpless gesture. - Maybe there is enough food for him?
“I don’t know if it’s a coincidence or not, only on the day when Ukraine commemorated those who died in the Holodomor, that door was shaking,” Vasif continues. “We don’t hang a lock on it, but only cover it. And this door opened and closed a hundred times in a row. I, watching all this, thought that she would fly off. But, fortunately, nothing happened to her.
I wanted to bring the thieves to clean water, but I caught a brownie
"Aren't you afraid to live near the cemetery?" - friends often ask the Gafarovs. “You need to fear the living, not the dead,” they answer. The family practically does not even close the gates to their courtyard, because it is so convenient - trucks often come here with goods, then for goods. Someone thinks that it is the open gates that allow any evil spirits to freely enter the house. But the owners themselves - hardworking and honest people - made sure that it was people who should beware of.
About six months ago, Vasif noticed that his bags of onions and boxes of cucumbers were disappearing. Barabashka never joked like that. It turned out that the movers were stealing. Once in the middle of the night I decided to visit the warehouse. And as he turned on the light on the veranda, he saw two men with luggage on their shoulders. The third - also by accident - was delayed already on the road by Igor, returning home at that time. Vasif then forgave the thieves, did not fire him from work. But I decided that it was necessary to introduce stricter controls. And installed video surveillance in the warehouses.

But he did not sound the alarm and did not tell anyone for a long time. At first I thought that I was very tired from the road and imagined it. As expected, the man saw nothing suspicious and, having calmed down, went to bed. But from that time on, he began to follow the records more closely. I opened the archive in which they were kept for a month, and was even more horrified. It turned out that "it" scurries under the feet and over the heads of people who appear in the warehouse, and people behave like blind kittens.
Vasif sits me down near the computer he bought a year ago for his son, and opens the folders one by one. What is accidentally captured on video seems incredible. “It” is something very mobile and bright white with a shadow. It bursts into the door, begins to rush in a closed space - up, down, left, right - and disappears from the field of vision. Each time it has a different shape - now round, now elongated, now it looks like a blot. And the daughter of the head of the family Elmira, who is not yet five years old, looks like a bug. You can see how Vasif's wife enters the room and a white spot sweeps past her, almost touching her, but she does not react to it. Yulin's brother appeared, and the stain seemed to emerge from under his feet. The young man, however, does not notice anything …
"It's impossible to mount this on a computer!"
- Somewhere at the end of November last year, Vasif asked me to go to him to deal with incomprehensible recordings of the video surveillance system that I installed with him, - recalls 22-year-old computer engineer Ilya Bondar. - The system is configured for the movement of objects and can record anything. But I did not expect to see THIS! At first I thought it was a reflection from infrared light, which helps to observe in the dark. But where does it get its shadow and why is it reflected in the window pane? In addition, the reflection should have fallen on the door, and not rushed in all directions. I calculated: in one second, a spot of unknown origin, flying into the door, changes position and shape five times (!), Then disappears. It is clear that this is not a natural phenomenon, but something that is on the verge of real and unreal. But what? And then I recall the description of the soul from the popular science book by Renat Garifzyanov and Lyubov Panova "Revelations of Guardian Angels", which I just read: "This is a round white translucent cloud." It turns out that we are watching the soaring of the soul?
- Maybe it's computer editing?
- I categorically declare: no! It is technically impossible to mount such a thing - there is no such program in the Gafarovs' computer. And in the family, no one really understands the computer. And who needs it anyway?
Meanwhile, 12-year-old Ismail Gafarov claims that he saw a "white beetle", from which a blinding light emanated, outside the window of the house. It was in the evening, he was going to the kitchen, where my mother was sitting, and then this happened!

In general, at the family council it was decided to call the priest again so that he would calm someone's restless soul with prayers. Father Stephen claims that this is a manifestation of evil spirits and must be expelled. But what happened during the consecration of the attached rooms!

But the young cat, which everyone adored, after the consecration of the house suddenly disappeared and still does not appear. Father Stephen explains this by the fact that an evil spirit could possess an animal and drive it out of its place. Perhaps he lived in an affectionate cat …
Be that as it may, for more than a month after that, CCTV cameras did not record anything unusual. The Gafarovs even got bored.
- My mother and I really wanted to see the little redhead, - Elmira sly squints her eyes. - We sat down with her near the computer and began to ask: “Little girl, appear! We love you very much, you and I will sleep, we will not tell anyone …”And he heard us!
The baby's father shows the phenomenon of the “exile” with particular pleasure. Unbelievable, but five to ten minutes after such treatment, a bright white spot in the form of … a heart flashed on the monitor screen. Is it a coincidence or just another riddle?
Father Stephen warns that "friendship" with an evil spirit can be dangerous. “He appears where there is sin,” the priest explains.

Very often it manifests itself in overturning or moving objects, spontaneous fires, various voices that tell terrible things … But it appears extremely rarely as a bright spot. There are about twenty scientific hypotheses of the origin of poltergeist. Scientists prove that these are energy phantoms, manifestations of terrestrial magnetism, and so on. But personally, I believe that this is a manifestation of a different form of life, a different world, a different civilization, existing in parallel with ours. Calculations of modern astrophysicists show that once the world was one, and then its stratification took place - into material and energy, spiritual, which are closely related. Only man remained two-one - we have a physical body and a soul.
I believe that a poltergeist is a kind of hooliganism on the part of one of the representatives of the world invisible to us. They have good and bad jokes. But the intervention of the church does not always lead to pacification of "hooligans", on the contrary, it can cause their anger. Even in the chronicles of Ivan the Terrible, it is mentioned that evil spirits were wound up in the Tsar's bathhouse. After the priest was invited there, they became even more furious and began throwing bath accessories more than ever. “And you please them, let them play, at least put your cards down,” the wise men advised the king.
