In the Ostrogozhsky district of the Voronezh region there is a stone labyrinth, the creation of which dates back to the 3rd century. BC e. Archaeologists who discovered the structure in 1957 compare it with the English Stonehenge.
Since the time of the Scythians, local residents have taken apart stones for domestic needs, and in order to preserve the ancient monument, mysterious stones were buried after research, but the powerful energy in this place still remained.
In the book by Valery Berezutsky “The Land of Ostrogozhsky. Archaeological antiquities of the land of Voronezh "the following description of the ancient structure is given:" The construction of the labyrinth is a central platform of a stone pavement and six concentric elliptical rings surrounding it, between which in some cases bridges are fixed. The labyrinth was in the form of an oval, built of chalk stones. The stones are laid out on the turf, on level ground, without any binder solution and adjustment. The structure itself consists of six circular masonry. They are badly damaged, but in general an approximate size can be established. The maximum height of the stones in ancient times did not exceed half a meter, while the larger diameter of the outer ring along the west-east line reaches 40 meters. There are several granite boulders in the western section of the outer chalk masonry. Another is to the north of the center of the maze. Granite is a rare breed for this area. Once again, let's make a reservation that the ruins of a structure have come down to us, which in its original form was architecturally more complex and systemic. But what has survived to this day leaves no doubt: these are the remains of a "megalithic" construction of a cult purpose. It can be called a sanctuary, a labyrinth."
In favor of the fact that the labyrinth is of artificial origin, say the granite stones used in the construction, the finding of which is not specific to the area.
The exact purpose of the Voronezh "Stonehenge" is unknown. Some believe that this is a religious building, an ancient sanctuary, others call it an astronomical observatory.
There is a version that the labyrinth is a kind of harmonizer of space. Throughout the history of mankind, the creation of labyrinths was necessarily metaphysical in nature. Labyrinths have healing powers; adepts use them as a path to God. By the way, the image of a labyrinth on houses is an ancient sign of protection from adversity.
Be that as it may, but people who have visited the Mostischensky labyrinth speak of it as a "place of power."
