All vital processes of the human body are controlled by Instincts.
When we satisfy Instincts, we enjoy warmth, sleep, food, reproductive activity … This stimulates us to need to perform the tasks of the Algorithm more often and better.
Scientists believe that humans inherited a full set of Instincts from their animal ancestors. It's just that we have the same Instincts pretended to be veiled under feelings and emotions, embellished with morality and cultural traditions.
Territory, power and resources
To satisfy the needs of the Instincts, we, like higher animals, fight for territory, power and resources. The ability to survive increases many times over as we climb the ladder of the human hierarchy. The higher our rank in society, the more satisfied the Instincts are.
But, in conditions of limited resources, we climb this ladder only at the expense of others.
