Disputes about the existence of the mythical Arctida have been going on for centuries and it is not known for certain whether a civilization could exist, which is mentioned in myths as the homeland of all Slavs. Every now and then, scientists stumble upon the possible remains of ancient buildings and put forward their theories about the possibility that these buildings may belong to Hyperborea, but the evidence is not very convincing, because you can say about any ancient structure that it belongs to a civilization from legends.
Scientists from Siberia made a new statement about the existence of Arctida. According to their research, this continent in ancient times was connected several times with other continents, and then became a separate continent. In ancient times, there was a single continent on Earth under Rodinia, and then the collapse of the supercontinent followed, which occurred approximately 750 million years ago. After the breakup, Arctida could have joined Pangea, but about a quarter of a billion years ago, they separated again.
However, scientists from the Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics believe that Arctida and Hyperborea are different continents. Previously, it was believed that these 2 names belong to the same civilization, they are simply mentioned with different names. In my opinion, the new research is definitely not proving anything and there is no direct evidence. This is another theory, which is of rather dubious origin.
