Creepy pictures were taken by Australian kayaker Martin Mueller when he accidentally stumbled upon a large olive python in the swamps, which had just strangled a rather large freshwater crocodile.
Müller traveled by boat through the marshes of Mount Isa in Queensland. The size of the predator and its prey is not reported in the press, but olive pythons can reach 4 meters, so you can roughly imagine what size the crocodile was.
When the man realized that the snake would begin to swallow the python whole right now, he pulled out his phone and began to take pictures. Unfortunately, he mostly managed to capture the very end of the process, because he walked around the snake to capture it from a different angle.
When the python completely swallowed the crocodile, it began to slowly crawl into the thicket, growing fat in the middle.

Mueller later posted his photos on Facebook and they quickly went viral. Shocked users have left more than 10 thousand comments to them.
Many were surprised that olive pythons (which are often kept as pets in Australia) can kill and swallow crocodiles. Others marveled at the courage of the photographer himself. A snake capable of killing a large reptile could kill a human.
