In the photo: a pyramid on the right bank of the Yenisei near the village. Zykovo near Krasnoyarsk - a monument to the ancient Russian civilization?

Rows of megalithic masonry can be seen here and there - any resident or guest of the city, turning his face towards Krasny Yar, can easily distinguish these even rows of huge gray blocks.

Everyone in Russia knows the Krasnoyarsk chapel - from the picture that adorns the banknote. Pull the ducat out of your pocket, unfold and admire. True, in the perspective in which the image of the turret is given, it is difficult to understand where it is located.

I'll clarify: the chapel of St. Martyr Paraskeva Pyatnitsa on the cone-shaped top of Karaulnaya Mountain, which is now in the middle of the millionth city of Krasnoyarsk. And once the top of the mountain served as an observation post for the Cossacks - there was a hipped larch frame there. Ostrog Krasny Yar (a palisade of walls, towers with cannons, a church, huts, a tower of the governor) was located below, at the foot of the mountain, on the banks of the Yenisei at the mouth of the Kacha river …

Therefore, there are two names: who speaks - Karaulnaya hill, and who - Chasovennaya. And there is a version that at the top of this strange hill, many, many years before the appearance of the Cossack guard and after the Orthodox chapel, there was a sanctuary of an unknown Siberian people. And that in general this hill is not a hill at all, but an ancient pyramid … This was discussed in one of my publications. From her, from the newspaper page, and begin the journey.

Newspaper "Evening Krasnoyarsk" (1) 2005

I stand with my hand on a huge stone block. It is almost as tall as I am, and although its edges have crumbled and broken off, the block has the shape of an almost regular cube. The stone is not cold, it is heated by the sun, but to the touch it resembles an ordinary concrete slab.

A dozen of such blocks form an even row - they protrude from the ground, representing, as it were, an artificial masonry of a giant wall. Is the Chapel Mountain hiding in itself the remains of an ancient structure of a mighty civilization that disappeared long ago? Krasnoyarsk chapel on the top of the mountain (pyramids.

Rows of megalithic masonry can be seen here and there - any resident or guest of the city, turning his face towards Krasny Yar, can easily distinguish these even rows of huge gray blocks.

The rows run almost parallel, so the mountain really looks like a giant pyramid, which is half buried with earth. Of course, being like a pyramid and being a pyramid are not the same thing.

Familiar geologists, to whom I asked a question, pointing to the rows of stone blocks, answered without hesitation that such rock outcrops have nothing to do with artificial masonry, but are the open edges of the stone body of the mountain. I did not argue, because the hypothesis about the artificial nature of the hill seems absolutely fantastic.

So this "secret of Krasniy Yar" would have remained a cheerful April Fool's tale, but I came across materials about the Chinese pyramids on the Internet. It turns out that the well-known Egyptian wonders from the Nile Valley have their counterparts in China - in the central regions of the PRC, in the middle of agricultural fields, several kilometers from the large city of Xi'an, there are several dozen huge pyramidal structures! One of them has a height of about 60 meters, that is, only half the size of the largest pyramid of Cheops in Egypt.

For a long time, European science did not even suspect the existence of these pyramids, only in 1997 the archaeologist Hartwig Hausdorff managed to obtain the consent of the authorities and investigate the mysterious structures. Hausdorff published an abundantly illustrated article about his travels in the pages of an American magazine. However, in fact, information about the Chinese pyramids appeared back in 1945, when an American pilot took photographs of the pyramids on photographic film, but academic science was not interested in the message of the military. And in 1960, New Zealander Bruce Kafi found the diaries of two Australian traders who visited the Shansi province at the beginning of the century and described 16 pyramids - this information was also considered speculation by archaeologists. Finally,in March 1997 Hausdorff arrived in China - he discovered mysterious structures just west of Xianyang (a settlement 30 miles from Xi'an). The pyramids turned out to be built of clay bricks, their slopes are overgrown with trees, so at first glance you cannot determine their artificial nature. Nevertheless, the remains of walls and murals testified to their ancient origin. According to researchers, these are the tombs of ancient Chinese emperors 2-3 thousand years ago, but the authorities of the PRC prohibited excavations.but the authorities of the PRC banned excavations.but the authorities of the PRC banned excavations.

When one of China's leading archaeologists, Professor Hia Nai, was asked why no one is doing research on the contents of the pyramids, he replied, "This is work for future generations." Meanwhile, Dr. Hausdorff, three or four miles from the "city of the pyramids," found another pyramid, similar in shape to the pyramid of the sun in Teutihuacan, northwest of Mexico City.

He writes: “Most of the Chinese pyramids are similar to their Mesoamerican counterparts. It is impossible not to notice that Who laid these blocks so evenly? when the Mayan pyramids were discovered in the jungle of the Yucatan Peninsula, they looked just like the Chinese ones. Hausdorff filmed an 18-minute movie about the Chinese pyramids, and from that moment on, the legend became a scientific sensation.

This cautionary story made me think about it: maybe you shouldn't trust skeptical geologists, but you need to check everything yourself? And so our little expedition, armed with a digital camera and a hammer, travels along the slope of the Krasnoyarsk pyramid.

As you can see, the rock outcrops really look like the remains of ancient walls - vertical cracks come with surprising periodicity, dividing the rock monolith into regular blocks.

We took samples - maybe this is fossilized ancient concrete, similar to the one from which the Egyptian pyramids are built? We were also interested in the thin layers of black substance, in some places covering the surface of the blocks - it looks like the remnants of some kind of resin, with which the stones were once held together. When experts make an analysis, it will be possible to clearly answer the question: are these rows of huge stones the remains of ancient walls.

Nevertheless, being on the slope of the Chasovennaya Mountain, you understand that a huge hill cannot be entirely artificial. Is that its very peak, where the chapel of St. Martyr Paraskeva Friday. The rise at the top of the hill is indeed somehow suspiciously flat and pyramidal. It is no coincidence that this triangular silhouette with a turret and a chapel dome has become a graphic symbol of Krasnoyarsk. The top of the mountain is a favorite observation platform; tourists and guests of the city come here. On the Internet site "Places of Power" an unknown author said that in ancient times there was a shaman sanctuary here, but now there is a micro-collage - Chinese pyramids - the energy center of Krasnoyarsk has been received from the Web. This, of course, is already from the realm of fantasy. However, a Cossack outpost was once located here, and if so, then we can assumethat in ancient times the defensive fortifications of some Siberian civilizations were located on the mountain.

The place above the Yenisei, which the founder of the fort boyar liked. The stones look like the remains of ancient walls - vertical cracks come with surprising periodicity, dividing the monolith of the rock into regular blocks and giving the impression of an artificially constructed plate (form. For Marina, she served as a magnificent podium: "The view from above is better!"

Andrei Dubensky, no doubt, could have attracted other governors and town planners in prehistoric times. It is known, for example, that 2,500 years ago the Tagar tribe settled from the southern Minusinsk depression far to the north - their burials are found in the Krasnoyarsk region. In addition to these Scythian blacksmiths and farmers, other powerful peoples once lived here, on the slope of the hill in the 20s of the last century a treasure of silver things from the times of the Kyrgyz Kaganate was found. The exquisite decorations of medieval beauties are still kept in the funds of the local history museum.

And what can we say about the most ancient times! There is a version that in the era before the Flood (when a cosmic catastrophe destroyed almost all life on the planet and caused glaciation), the climate was completely different - very warm - and many living things were then gigantic. I read essays completely fantasy, they say, lived in the antediluvian era of giants, to whom the mammoth was at shoulder level - like a bull or a cow for us. There are a couple of words in the Bible about these giant people, and some romantic-minded amateurs ascribe to mythical giants the creation of megalithic structures from huge stones - like Stonehenge, Arkaim and others that are found in some places on Earth. So there is a temptation to attribute the remains of the fortress walls on our Chapel Hill to the same antediluvian giants.

This is, of course, speculation. It is much more likely that in our places there will be traces of the Aryans who migrated from the Indian Peninsula inland, or the remnants of the civilization of the ancient Hyperboreans, which were reported by Greek historians.

One way or another, the Siberian land hides many more secrets, and who knows, maybe one of them is hidden near us?

PS When I had already prepared the article for publication, an acquaintance said: "There is a mountain twenty kilometers from Krasnoyarsk - an absolutely typical pyramid!" A tourist from Krasnoyarsk, who visited Egypt, promised to give for research a piece of the Cheops pyramid, broken off "for memory." I hope that we will be able to reveal the secret of Krasny Yar and get to the bottom of the truth.

Expert commentary

Makarov Nikolai Polikarpovich, Head of the Department of Archeology and Ethnography of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Museum of Local Lore, Candidate of Historical Sciences: -The hypothesis presented in the materials of Pavel Poluyan seems interesting - such versions always excite the imagination. Nevertheless, from the point of view of archeology and geology, we see here most likely not artificial walls, but stones of natural origin. Such rocky outcrops are found on the Torgashinsky ridge and in other places. However, Siberian archeology can bring a lot of sensations. On the same Karaulnaya mountain, a rich Kyrgyz burial was found - unique silver cups and ladles, saddle decorations, weapons … In the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia, parts of fortifications, like the Chinese wall, have been preserved since ancient times - little-studied stone walls of the so-called Oglakhta fortress system. But there were fortifications in places requiring defense, and not on the slope of the mountain. In any case, detailed archaeological research and excavations are needed.
