Images of winged people can often be found on seals of Akkadian time, where scenes of the trial of birdmen are shown. In these ancient drawings, justice is being administered over the winged creature that clearly did not please the other deities.
You can, of course, write off images of winged people on the rich imagination of ancient artists. But what about the stories and testimonies of eyewitnesses who have met bird-people in our time? Moreover, a lot of such stories have been collected.
From ancient times, legends about an unusual race of human birds that once lived on our planet have come down to our days. However, these creatures still catch the eye of people, and most often these meetings take place in the Amur region or in Mexico. A body covered with gray feathers, a wingspan of up to 4 m, a human head with a barely distinguishable nose and mouth, a "jumping" gait and strong clawed paws - this is the portrait of the mysterious bird-man. They even tried to shoot this creature with a video camera, but the resulting pictures do not allow to clarify what species such a "bird" can be attributed to. On the Amur, zoologists even tried to trap the winged creature, where the bait was set. But the venture was not crowned with success - the winged creature managed to steal food and not fall into a trap.
The Russian scientist Ernst Muldashev also came to the conclusion that a race of bird-people may exist deep underground. The amazing Easter Island is famous not only for its stone idols. There are many "chicken houses" here - stone structures up to 2 m high, supposedly built with the aim that local Ryaby could safely rush there. However, one of the inhabitants showed the caves located under these "houses", and according to him it is very dangerous to go down into them, because there you can meet a bird-man. According to Muldashev, the "chicken houses" were not built by people, but by underground creatures to disguise the entrance to the underground monastery. In general, the cult of the bird-man has existed on Easter Island for a very long time.
The legends of this place say that earlier, when the idols could walk, the bird-people with tremendous strength helped them, they put stone hats on the idols (weighing 10 tons!), Attached their eyes. The incredible abilities of these creatures were such that they could make a stone as light as a cloud.
At first, the bird-people came into contact with local residents, and then moved to the dungeons. It is believed that the mysterious winged creatures do not harm people, and a negative telepathic signal is enough for them to turn a person back from the forbidden territory. However, as a last resort, if a person is too aggressive, the bird-people can go to kill. Underground canals, similar to those found on Easter Island, were also found during excavations of burial mounds in Mongolia. One of the Mongolian caves has an unusual spherical shape inside and has clear signs of artificial origin. The cavity of the cave itself was selected with stepped sections of the layers, apparently, for this, huge cutters were used. But the most interesting thing is that on the back wall of the cave there is an image of a bird-man, and the size of such a drawing is several meters. As the Mongols themselves say, several years ago, if they threw a stone inside the hole, the sound of falling was not heard. But after people started throwing garbage there and visiting the cave without much ritual, the hole closed from below with a crash.

In the past and the century before last, the newspapers have repeatedly flashed notes about meetings with incomprehensible winged creatures. For example, in 1887, Brooklyn passers-by observed a creature in the sky that looked like a bird-man. In 1900, the bird-man was seen in the New Jersey area, and the famous writer V. K. Arsenyev in his book "Dersu Uzala" describes an incident that happened to him in 1908 in the Far East. While walking along the river with his dog in foggy weather, he noticed a footprint that resembled a human footprint.
Then the writer heard a heavy stomp and the crackle of broken branches, but no one came out onto the path - the creature seemed to be hiding in the bushes. Arsenyev threw a stone there - and then the unexpected happened: there was the sound of wings, and something big and dark rose from the fog and flew away. The writer's dog was very scared, huddled at the owner's feet and did not whine. Udege hunters, having listened to the story of the writer, told him a story about a flying man, traces of which come across quite often, and they appear and break off in the most unexpected places, as if a man came down from the sky or took off.
In 1952, in Kyoto (Japan), Sinclair Taylor, an Air Force soldier, being on duty at night, heard the flapping of wings at the top - raising his head, the soldier saw a tall, winged man with huge wings. Taylor opened fire and the creature fell to the ground, but when the sentry ran to the place of the fall, there was no one there. After hearing this strange story, the chief of the guard said that another soldier had seen the same creature a year ago. In the fall of 1966, about a hundred people in different countries: the USA, England and Scandinavia observed a winged creature with glowing eyes.
In the Primorsky Territory, local residents call such a creation a devil, and cases of frequent encounters with a flying person fell in the 1930-1940s and 1980-1990s. Sometimes bird-people show aggression towards humans. For example, the hunter A. I. Kurentsev describes a meeting with a bird-man, which could have ended sadly. Sitting by the fire, the man felt a gaze, and then he had a feeling of panic. Noticing some movement and obeying an intuitive impulse, the hunter fell to the ground, and at the same time a man with webbed wings flew over him, like a bat. Until the morning, the man hid behind a tree, fearing a second attack.
Specialists' guesses about what kind of creatures they might be are contradictory. However, the most plausible version of the origin of the flying man is genetic experiments by representatives of other civilizations. After all, not only winged people were depicted by ancient people on frescoes and bas-reliefs, many examples of drawings of strange human-animals can be found all over the world, and literary sources and ancient legends suggest that the Earth was once the abode of creatures that now seem just fabulous characters.
