In September-October 1611, the beginning of the formation in Nizhny Novgorod of the second militia led by Kuzma Minin and Prince D. M. Pozharsky. This fact is reflected in textbooks and other works on history.

Curiously, Wikipedia does not even know the exact dimensions. How can one demand from such a resource or refer to it (which is done by literally everyone on a regular basis) as a reliable source. But we have nothing to do and we have to rely on at least something to understand the publicly available information.
It is logical to think that such an event should be reflected by contemporaries as well. Or at least those who remembered it and were present at this or at these times, years.
And then the first cast bullet! It was decided to erect the monument only after more than 200 years! Beauty! Moreover, it was designed in such a timely manner. Literally after 1812. Unwittingly (of course, only those who are a little inclined to the analysis of dates, events and who are interested, albeit in an optional form, in historical events and their non-conjunctions), you wonder if it was not the same event: in 1612 and 1812? Only smashed for centuries. Someone might say that the monument is supposedly for the 200th anniversary. Ugh … And where is at least one description about a century? It turns out when there was the first round date = 100 years, no one remembered, and there were no folk festivals, tons of kvass were not drunk, and hundreds of teeth were not knocked out? And if these two events, spaced apart in a couple of centuries, are one? Then the date of the design of the monument is logical.

Another oddity. I mean clothes. And don't talk about ancient Rome or anything like that. A good word "classicism". Guys in a tunic, with a short Roman sword. Who understands weapons from the early 17th century, please do not swear. But fashion designers can explain in what fashion and in what climate such clothes are worn in September and October (1611)? There are many questions.
Well, how can you not point out a curious invention like Google Books Ngam Viewer. Thanks to which we see a completely frank, how to put it mildly, non-compliance with one another.
An event dating from 1611-1612, according to Ngam Viewer, was first reflected in documents dating from 1785. That is, this Internet resource with its burst says that this event was written (mentioned in printed publications) after 1830, which was dated 1785. The graph is shown below. Yes, and not only dated, but it turns out and first described the events of a century and a half ago! It's funny! So it turns out that the event of the second militia led by Minin and Pozharsky actually took place not in 1611, but in 1812. It turns out that it was artificially shifted 200 years into the past.
The next spike, according to the Ngam Viewe graph, is Fall 1941. The country needed an upsurge of patriotism, since the enemy was approaching the capital. We remembered the history of the militia, which, among other ideological methods, occupied a worthy place!
