In China, the trend of external similarity to various kinds of puppet characters is becoming more and more popular. One of its most prominent representatives is a blogger who goes online under the nickname Tina Leopard.
This girl recently caused a storm of discussion and controversy when she posted a few of her fresh photos on her page. At first glance, it is almost impossible to believe that we are facing a living person, and not a cartoon character or not a mannequin.
Tina has an abnormally sharp, elongated chin, huge eyes, a regular "doll" nose and cheeks that give her face a triangular shape. All these are the consequences of complex plastic surgery. Of course, Tina wears false eyelashes, contact lenses, and a fair amount of makeup, and yet her appearance is capable of capturing the imagination.
And although some Internet users in China are sure that Tina Leopard is a product of graphic editors, and in reality the girl looks completely different (if she exists at all), most still argue about whether it is moral to correct nature in this way.
After all, Tina is far from the first doll girl. In the United States, there is a real live Barbie who spent tens of thousands of dollars on plastic surgery to look like her favorite toy. True, the girl evokes more negative reviews from the public than positive ones, despite her wasp waist and an unnaturally doll-like face.
So insults are rushed to Tina, the most polite of which can be called "monster" and "alien". The girl herself, apparently, is flattered by such attention. It remains only to speculate how her puppet appearance will change over the years. And how much plastic surgeons can hold back the ruthless passage of time.
