In 1989, The New York Times published a sensational material: a human skeleton was found on the moon! The reputable organ referred to the leading Chinese astrophysicist Mao Kang. It was this scientist who a little earlier, in 1988, at a conference in Beijing, showed photographs of the footprints of a bare human foot on the lunar surface, claiming that he received them from a reliable source in the United States. According to Mao Kang, the image of the skeleton is from a second batch of photos shared by the same source.
Secret pictures
From the technical point of view, such photographs are quite possible to take from a distance of several hundred kilometers. The question is, how did a human skeleton end up on the moon - and why did the Americans who own these photographs not publish them earlier?
The second half of the question is much easier to answer. Space is the most important strategic area of research, and the one who owns its secrets is by definition stronger than potential adversaries.
Mao Kang said that the Americans are complicit in covering up a global secret. They hid images of human footprints from the public for 20 years, and the skeleton photo for even longer. Despite the fact that such materials are the property of the whole world, the US space services considered that no one except them had the right to own this information.
The Chinese astrophysicist emphasized that he has documents proving that the skeleton undoubtedly belongs to humans. But no one will be able to reveal this secret until the Americans make public all the information they have.
Despite such harsh criticism, US space officials declined to comment. After that, Mao Kan presented reporters with copies of documents labeled "Top Secret" and dated August 3, 1969. That is, they were issued two weeks after astronauts Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, who flew in on the Apollo 11 spacecraft, stepped onto the lunar surface.

Among the documents are photographs, which clearly show the human skeleton lying on the lunar surface. Based on the arrangement of the bones, his death was violent. Some parts of the skeleton are missing. Who took the pictures: Armstrong and Aldrin, who had landed on the moon, or their colleague Michael Collins, who was in orbit, is unknown.
Dr. Mao Kang rightly noted that the remains of a person came to the moon after death, since decomposition of body tissues there is impossible - after all, the Earth's satellite does not have an atmosphere containing bacteria that cause decay. Consequently, the bones were delivered there from our planet or another.
The skeleton and footprints of bare feet were left relatively recently, otherwise they would have been swept by moon dust, which rises as a result of the fall of countless meteorites.
Some parts of the text are missing on copies of documents. But even from the excerpts it is clear that American scientists have come to the conclusion: the prints of the bare feet and the skeleton are related to extraterrestrial civilizations.
Were there or not?
The flight of the Apollo 11 spacecraft with astronauts Armstrong (spacecraft commander), Collins (pilot of the main unit) and Aldrin (pilot of the lunar module), carried out in July 1969, still raises many questions. According to official reports, during this expedition, Armstrong and Aldrin stayed on the lunar surface for 21 hours 36 minutes, collected 28 kilograms of soil samples and planted an American flag at the landing site of the lunar module. Their actions were recorded on camera, and video footage was shown to the whole world.
The landing of people on the moon meant the successful implementation of the Apollo program and the victory of the United States in the space competition with the USSR. But numerous inconsistencies demonstrated on television (the American flag flutters from the wind, although there is no atmosphere on the moon; there are no traces of moon dust on the astronauts' boots; the weight of people on the moon is much less, their steps should resemble long jumps, which is not observed on video), allowed researchers in the rest of the world have at least two main hypotheses. First; Americans have not been to the Moon, the video is a pavilion shooting. And the second: the Americans were on the moon, but the real footage of what they saw was deliberately classified by NASA - and the live broadcast showed pre-filmed pavilion footage simulating the landing of astronauts on an Earth satellite.
Descent to the surface of the moon
The second version looks much more believable. The "Apollo" was closely watched by the special services of the USSR, ready to reveal the deception. The lunar soil samples collected by Armstrong and Aldrin were similar in composition to those previously delivered by Soviet robotic stations. In addition, the Americans installed a laser reflector on the moon, which has been used by scientists from different countries for a long time.
Who changes batteries
Nevertheless, thanks to numerous information leaks, the mysteries of the Apollo 11 flight continue to haunt the minds of researchers.
After a few hours of flight to the Moon, the astronauts reported that their ship was being pursued by "luminous balls" that repeat all Apollo maneuvers. The center in Houston suggested that these were some kind of Soviet space torpedoes - and all three days of the flight of the apparatus to the Luna expected an explosion and the death of the crew.
Before landing, flying over the far side of the moon, Armstrong, forgetting the instructions, shouted into the microphone in plain text:
- I see spaceships! There are probably twenty of them.
Mission control responded instantly: the connection was immediately cut off, and the exclamation of the astronaut commander was subsequently cut out rather awkwardly by NASA workers.
After landing on the lunar surface, Houston again received alarming information from Armstrong:
- At a distance of about half a mile from us, you can see traces that look like those left by a tank …
After that, the connection was interrupted. The astronauts switched to another frequency and to the operator's question: “What's going on? Is there anything wrong? - gave the answer:
- There are big objects here! Huge! They stand on the other side of the crater and watch us!..
Armstrong and Aldrin left the module only a few hours after landing, when the nervous tension finally subsided. Before that, they warned Collins to be ready for an immediate escape back to Earth. After passing about 100 meters on the lunar surface, the astronauts returned to the module in two and a half hours, took off and docked with the spacecraft.
It is quite obvious that they saw something amazing. But there were these alien ships or other objects or phenomena - no one ever told.
The fact that something incomprehensible is happening on the moon can be judged by other facts. In 1971, the crew of the Apollo-14 spacecraft left there the astronomical lunar surface experimental complex (ALPEC) with instruments for recording the magnetic field and cosmic rays. The batteries of the complex were designed for a year of operation, but information from it took much longer. In January 1976, ALPEK fell silent for a month - after which it suddenly started working much better and clearer, as if someone had replaced the earth's batteries with more powerful ones. Something similar happened with the Soviet lunar rover, the batteries of which were discharged - and after a few months they started working again.

Scientists have not been able to explain where the energy for the devices came from and why the power supplies resumed working.
Unanswered questions
After the image of the skeleton on the moon hit the press, the Apollo 11 space expedition began to look even more mysterious. Researchers are still speculating: who this man was, how did his remains get to the moon, and how are they related to what the astronauts could see?
According to some versions, there may be a base for alien spaceships on the Moon - or the Earth satellite itself is a huge interplanetary station launched into space by representatives of another civilization who study people. Perhaps the human skeleton was taken on Earth - and after research left on the satellite of our planet. A careful study of the photographs allowed us to conclude: this man wore jeans during his lifetime, therefore, to some extent, was our contemporary.
Note that the US official authorities have not yet confirmed or refuted numerous statements by Mao Kang and other scientists. But the most surprising thing is that after several "lunar landing" of the Americans, when, according to all criteria, it is necessary to develop success, the Apollo program was abruptly curtailed. Therefore, there were reasons that forced the NASA space agency to do this. And the mysterious skeleton on the moon is certainly related to one of them.
