This story took place in German Silesia in 1924. Its main characters were rabbits, which bred in huge numbers on the lands of Count Keizerling, which were located in the Koberwitz region. Long-eared rodents appeared in such numbers because during the war years, the count did not arrange such grandiose hunts for these animals, as before.

However, even after the war, the number of rabbits did not decrease, but, on the contrary, even increased. But the count, nevertheless, was categorically against any hunt on his lands. He also forbade the use of poison. “I'm trying to find another remedy that will help us get rid of these long-eared animals,” Kaiserling reassured his angry neighbors.

And such a remedy was found. In the summer of 1924, in Koberwitz, the Count organized an agricultural conference, which was attended by prominent landowners in Europe.

The conference was supposed to get acquainted with new views on the use of land, as well as ways to increase yields and combat plant and animal diseases caused by the use of poisons and chemical fertilizers.

In addition, at this symposium of farmers, it was planned to demonstrate a new way of fighting rabbits. Moreover, as it was stated, it will allow you to get rid of these insatiable creatures in just three days.

And soon rumors began to spread around the neighborhood that the count had invited some sorcerer who, like the legendary Pied Piper from Hamelin, could expel rabbits from the lands adjacent to Koberwitz without bullets and poison.

And the sorcerer who was going to accomplish such an amazing liberation of the area from the rabbits was Dr. Rudolf Steiner, the creator of anthroposophy.

Upon arrival in Koberwitz, Steiner first ordered the killing of the male rabbit and delivered to the room in which the doctor's laboratory was located. Then, when the animal was on the operating table, Steiner cut out the spleen and testicles from the rabbit, and then, adding a piece of its skin, burned it all. After this procedure, the doctor mixed the ash with some kind of powder that looks like icing sugar.

The doctor "activated" the resulting composition, applying homeopathic methods known at that time. There was nothing original about this, however, except for how Steiner intended to use the powder mixture he received. And this was the most important and most amazing thing in his experiment.

The fact is that the doctor decided to create conditions for rabbits so that they left their habitats on their own, under the influence of fear, which is one of the forms of the survival instinct. And this fear, according to Steiner, should have been introduced into the animals' organism by particles of the drug he received.

For this purpose, the doctor prepared a solution from the powder and took it to the site, which was located next to the count's house. Then he dipped a broomstick into it and began to wave it around so that the smallest droplets of this mixture would spread in the air. The same was done by his assistants along the border of the count's lands.

During the two days that followed this experience, nothing much happened. It seemed that the expulsion procedure had absolutely no effect on the rabbits. They continued to destroy the farmers' crops.

But the third day stunned everyone who happened to see what was happening. Already in the morning, thousands of long-eared animals suddenly left their shelters scattered around the area and gathered around an old oak tree. Their whole appearance indicated that they were extremely frightened by something: they were trembling, restlessly sucking in air and constantly sniffing at the soil. They seemed to be fleeing from some invisible danger.

But incredible events took place not only in a small area of the count's lands. Reports of strange behavior by rabbits began to come from all over the vast territory of Keyserling, as well as from its neighbors. In these reports it was said that everywhere rabbits, as if fearing something, leave their holes and stray into huge flocks.

By evening, these flocks huddled together in one large cluster near an old oak tree. And just before sunset, all the rabbits, seized with incomprehensible anxiety, suddenly rushed to run towards the swampy swamps. After this incident, not a single rabbit was seen in the vicinity of Kobervitz for many years …

But this, it turns out, is not the only known case when a person was able to influence animals in a non-contact way. Something similar has happened before. True, people endowed with a special gift did not expel rabbits, but rats, also knocking them into huge flocks and sending them in an unknown direction.

Moreover, such stories happened more than once, and many of them were officially confirmed by numerous witnesses. And rats, as you know, in the recent past were a real disaster not only for poor people, but also for those who had a good income.

However, the services of the "rat lords" were usually used by the owners of the mills, since it was in these places that these rodents were found in huge numbers. And the man, who possessed the gift of influence on animals, just "cleared" the mills of rats.

One of these facts was told in the sixth issue of the newspaper "Kaleidoscope UFO" for 1998. The author of the article, Vladimir Savintsev from the Perm region, told the following story in his letter to the editor.

“Before the First World War,” he wrote, “my father owned a mill, and when a lot of rats were raised there, he decided to take them out. He went somewhere, and a few days later he brought a dry peasant. He walked around the mill and looked into all the nooks and crannies where rats were found. At the same time he knocked on the floor and walls and said: “Your master has come. Listen to me". Then he went out into the courtyard of the mill, drew a circle on the ground with a knife and ordered the gate wide open. “Well, master,” he said. - Who are you angry with? Who should you send your rats to?"

“I'm not angry with anyone,” my father waved his hands. "Let them go wherever they want."

The peasant went out the gate and stuck a knife in the middle of the road with the handle tilted from the mill. After that, he knelt in a circle and began to whisper something quietly. Then he got up abruptly, waved his hand and said loudly: "Now go wherever you want!"

And then the incredible happened! From all the doors and crevices of the mill, a huge number of rats tumbled down. They ran in complete silence, without a squeak, and headed straight for the gate along the road, where the tilt of the knife indicated. I noticed that not a single rat crossed the circle in which the peasant stood. Several minutes passed, and all the rats disappeared into the distance. “Close the gate, master,” said the sorcerer. “I brought out all the rats.”

Another eyewitness told a similar incident. This event took place in 1939, when the witness of the event was serving in the army.

“One evening,” he said, “my friend and I were traveling in a lorry and a half to a military unit. I sat with the driver and dozed. Suddenly the car twisted along the road and stopped. I looked at the road and could not believe my eyes: all of it for a kilometer ahead was covered with a dense mass of rats running along it!

"Where do they come from?" I choked out in amazement.

The driver, a middle-aged civilian man, replied: "The owner brought them out of the collective farm barns." - "Which owner?" - "Yes, there is only one person whom they obey" …"

And the Italian writer and ethnographer Falco Kuilichi described in his travel diary how the inhabitants of the Fiji island call giant sea turtles to the shore with a special song.

The very same amazing hunt, according to Kuilichi's description, looked very simple: “Three islanders, hiding behind black rocks near the white coral coast, sadly and mournfully, were dragging 'nenia' - a lingering song. Several hours passed, the sun was already high in the sky and pierced the lagoon with dazzling blows of beams-blades.

Suddenly the triangular head of a turtle poked out of the water. The turtle lay motionless on the surface for several minutes. The singing intensified, became even more stringy. And the turtle swam to the shore. Hardly climbed out of the water and crawled to the rock.

We got the impression that the song really attracted her. As soon as the singing stopped, the turtle stopped. It resumed - and the turtle crawled along the hot sand again to the rock behind which the singers were hiding.

This continued until two boys jumped out of the ambush. They immediately stuck a stick behind the turtle and with it, like a lever, threw the animal onto its back. She waved her paws helplessly, desperately trying to roll over. Her love of singing cost her her life."

Italian journalist Alberto Ongaro in the north of Ghana in the village of Page, in which the inhabitants are friends … with crocodiles, came across the incredible fact of the difficult-to-explain relationship between people and animals. And in the most literal sense. Village children swim with crocodiles in the river, play on the bank, ride, climbing on their backs …

The person in charge of "friendly relations" with crocodiles is called the secretary of the tribe.

At the request of the journalist, he was given a "date" with the crocodiles. To begin with, they tried to call the animals with a special, slightly squeaky whistle. However, the crocodiles did not respond to the call. This is what Ongaro himself tells about the amazing phenomenon.

“They are asleep,” the secretary said in English. “You will have to wake them up yourself. He quickly undressed and entered the water. Having dived, the secretary disappeared, as it seemed to me, forever. Then for a moment he appeared on the surface and disappeared again … Meanwhile, the guys continued to whistle, the women still slowly washed their colorful clothes, and the shepherd calmly watched us and the cows. Finally, the secretary emerged about twenty meters from the shore and began to row towards us.

“They're coming now,” he said.

The water had barely had time to calm down when something like a floating log cut through its surface in the very center; now similar stumps appeared nearby. Crocodiles were on their way.

A three-meter monster was the first to crawl out onto the shore - its bone carapace was shiny from the water, a long, powerful tail dragged along the ground, a huge mouth, decorated with a frightening set of teeth, was wide open. Waddling on short legs, the monster approached the man who summoned him from the depths, and settled at his feet …

The "secretary for crocodiles" bent over him and whispered something softly, as it seemed, even tenderly; then he stroked the crocodile's elongated muzzle, not fearing the mouth, which could snatch off the stroking hand in an instant. Before our very eyes, a dialogue was taking place - half-mute, indistinct - but still a dialogue. And although it was impossible to believe in the human ability to communicate with a crocodile, these two communicated!

Other crocodiles emerged from the river and swayed near the shore, patiently waiting. But then the secretary straightened up and with a decisive step went to the water; immediately a pair of reptiles rushed towards him - a kind of representative deputation to continue negotiations. At a sign from the same secretary, the boys entered into a game with them: they sat astride them, lay down prone, let the terrible animals trot, not in the least afraid of powerful tails or grinning mouths. Perhaps there was nothing mysterious in this scene, perhaps the local crocodiles have long been accustomed to such numbers, but it was not easy to "digest" the spectacle …

The game dragged on for more than an hour; finally the secretary interrupted her, saying that the crocodiles were tired and it was time to think about the reward for the kindness and responsiveness shown.

The guys rushed to the village, and each one brought in a tied, desperately squealing chicken. At the same time, the chickens squeaked in exactly the same way as boys used to whistle when calling crocodiles”…

In this case, all the inhabitants of the village concluded, so to speak, a friendly alliance with the animals.

But ethnographers are aware of cases when an agreement on "friendship" is concluded between an individual person and an animal: a mammal, a bird, a reptile. It happens as follows.

A person who has felt that he can become a “brother” of a certain animal, catches him and with the help of people initiated into this ritual brings him to the village.

Then it's the turn for the sorcerer. He takes a knife and stabs the animal near the ear. With the same knife, he makes an incision on a person's hand. After these procedures, the person applies his wound to the wound of the animal, and in such a way that their blood is combined and mixed. It is believed that from this time on, an eternal and indestructible union arose between man and animal.

At the end of this ritual, the beast is freed and returned to the jungle. And although he will still show his bestial qualities, he will not touch his bloodline. On the contrary, as soon as a person calls a sister animal, it will immediately appear to him.

These are mystical stories about the amazing and mysterious relationship between humans and animals.
