The press at one time wrote a lot about the film, allegedly capturing the moment of evacuation of the crashed Roswell saucer in 1947 and the autopsy of one of the found corpses. The owner of the material, Ray Santilli, a London-based entrepreneur and head of a record company, told Mufon Ufo magazine that he purchased the film from former military cameraman Jack Barnett, who was filming a stock in Roswell and contrived to appropriate 15 boxes of footage.
