Several years ago, more precisely in 2013, many US media actively discussed the story of James Laininger, a young man from Louisiana, who claimed to be the reincarnation of American pilot James Huston Jr., who died during World War II in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He served on the Natoma aircraft carrier and was shot down by a Japanese fighter during one of the sorties.

The parents of James Laininger realized that they had a very unusual child when James was two years old: when his mother gave him a toy plane with a “bomb” suspended under the fuselage, the child corrected his mother, explaining to her that it was not a “bomb”, but outboard fuel tank.

As James got older, things got worse. Usually kids at the age of 2-5 draw pictures that they see in cartoons, however, for James, all creativity came down to aviation, and he drew not F-15 fighters that flew on TV, but planes from the Second World War:

However, the older James got older, the more, according to his parents, things with him became worse: at night the boy began to have nightmares in which he burned in a falling plane, in the morning assuring his mother that he was James Houston Jr., an American pilot. Frightened parents immediately began to drag the boy to enlightened psychiatrists.

By all accounts of graduated bearded adepts with glasses, the problem was that during a visit with the father to the aviation museum in Dallas, Texas, the child was allowed to sit for a while in an old plane, which caused nightmares and pseudo-memories.

Fortunately for the boy, who was prescribed to drink anti-anxiety pills by crowds of the brainless, the patient's parents met the only guy with brains - Dr. Jim Tucker from the University of Virginia. After listening to the boy, he explained to his parents that reincarnation is not an invention of crazy Buddhists, but such a frightening reality. Reincarnation is an absolutely proven scientific fact, rejected by the officials.

Then the parents began traveling through newspapers and television, where they listened to the child with interest, nodded, but no one took the teenager's stories seriously.

In the end, the story was fully continued when, through the joint efforts of both Dr. Jim Tucker and the parents of the reincarnated James Huston Jr., not only an archive photograph of the deceased James Houston was found, but also, as it were, eyewitnesses of those events.

They were 87-year-old Anne Barron, sister of pilot James Houston and his 74-year-old cousin Bob, aged 74. In the cockpit of the downed plane, they, of course, did not sit next to the pilot, but this is what James’s brother said after talking with the boy Houston Jr.:

“What this guy said came as a shock to me! These things were known only to me, James Huston's father and his mother. The child and under what circumstances could not find out from somewhere."

Thus, although everyone is well aware that reincarnation exists, one more fact on the list of evidence will not interfere with researchers.
