In the town of Pokaini in the parish of Naudite, Dobele region of Latvia, there is an anomalous zone, which has a significant impact on the electromagnetic field of the Earth, and, accordingly, on all events taking place on the planet - from wars to violent elements

Traditional healers bring their patients here, claiming that a visit to the Pokaine Forest nourishes the body with natural energy. But physicists and physicians do not advise putting your health at risk.

It is known that changes in the Earth's magnetic field can affect electrochemical processes in the human body, where blood acts as an electrolyte. This means that in Pokayni - a powerful magnetic anomaly, physiologists say. That is why a person who enters the forest increases their heart rate by 7-10 beats per minute.

According to some scientists, in the Pokayni tract in the local forest there is the neck of a "black funnel" that sucks all the strength of a person. Others believe that there is a giant crystal under the ground that rocks the planet's electromagnetic field. And still others are sure: the energy axis of the Earth passes through Pokayni.

The mysteries of Pokayni are guarded by the Mother Stone. Servants of ancient cults, modern esotericists and healers to this day perform rituals around him. There is a version that the earth's axis passed five kilometers from the Mother's stone, the newspaper Kommersant writes.

According to local legends, in the old days a sick guy lived in a village nearby, but God cured him, and in order to test the patient's strength, he drove a stone pillar into the ground and ordered: "Turn!" The guy spun the pole and turned the whole world around. According to another legend, in antiquity, on certain days 30 druids gathered in Pokayni, each of whom climbed "his" hill and from there controlled the weather.

According to experts studying paranormal phenomena, the Earth is a giant geocrystal, along the edges-lines of which the energy of the entire planet is distributed. Several lines intersect on the territory of Latvia, and if something goes wrong with them, it hits some regions of the planet.

Back in the mid-70s, NASA reconnaissance satellites registered a powerful underground energy source on the territory of Soviet Latvia. Its epicenter was in the thicket of the Pokain forest, which today has become a place of pilgrimage. Similar zones, but of a much smaller diameter, were also registered by satellites on the Earth's surface, but such a powerful structure is nowhere else on the planet.

For the first time, the press heard about the oddities of the Pokain forest, with an area of 400 hectares, in 1996 from the Riga explorer Ivars Viks. It is believed that the forest at Pokayni was once a refuge for pilgrims from all over Europe. They carried stones into the forest and piled them in special places with only one purpose: to leave their sins with a heavy burden.

The stones of the Pokaine Forest are the biggest local mystery. In the lowlands of the forest with 30 hills, there are stone masonry neatly laid out by whoever knows when: stones covered with moss have been lying here for more than one hundred years.

According to modern scientists, the Pokain forest is indeed a powerful geopathogenic zone. But its nature is not in some kind of space energy, but in the geological structure of the ancient Pokaynsky massif: we are talking about the features of the structure of the underlying rocks and about underground thermal zones communicating with groundwater.

It is no coincidence that there are plenty of springs and warm springs here. It is believed that Pokayni is a zone of increased electromagnetic activity. True, this assumption is hypothetical, since the composition and structure of rocks in this place, the tectonics of crustal faults, the presence of magnetic, electromagnetic, radiation and gravitational fields have not yet been seriously studied here. It is believed that concentrated deposits of magnetic ores, seismically stressed zones and gravitational anomalies can be the energy source that heats the stones in Pokaini.

The historian Janis Graudonis believes that in the old days these stones were simply removed by residents from their fields, although there is no agricultural land nearby. There is also a version that in the old days these stones were specially brought to Pokaini for the construction of the castle of the local prince, but for some reason they were never used. Archaeologists tried to test the hypothesis that there may be burials under the stonework, but after excavating a couple of masonry, they did not find anything under them.
