This is how the world map familiar to us should look like, but in order to make everything "beautiful", the intervals were sketched, thus distorting reality. Did you know that in the 16th century there were more reliable maps with almost all proportions?

The map shows the Earth from the northern hemisphere, now called an azimuthal projection. The map appeared 18 years later than the generally accepted projection of Gerard Mercator. The map consists of 60 parts, which the author tried to work out to the smallest detail. If you combine all the parts, then the diameter of the card will be 3 meters !!! As you can see on the map the states, various regions, inhabiting animals are plotted. The map is pretty accurate, but why isn't this model used? Unknown.

Modern historians consider the map to be foolish because it doesn't quite agree with historians' views of the past. But why is it secret?

If the work was carried out with earlier maps, then where did the outline of America come from? Most likely, even then, the author of the map agreed on the discovery of America by Columbus, but did not begin to draw the not yet discovered Australia.

But the most mysterious, historians deny the existence of various creatures that should not exist. On the map, you can clearly see unicorns, griffins, manticores, giants, double-tailed mermaids and other fantastic creatures.
