In the 30s of the twentieth century, the world entered a new era: in the Third Reich, pagan rituals of influencing the crowd were reconstructed. The ancient occult art has found a second life in modern laboratories. Technomagic arose, combining the energy of life and the harsh coldness of machines. For this, a complex of institutes and laboratories "Ahnenerbe" ("Legacy of Ancestors") was created, which, along with medical experiments on living people and tests for determining racial purity, dealt with the problems of accumulating magical energy in technical devices, precious metals and stones. "Ahnenerbe" was looking for practicing magicians and scientists dealing with ancient civilizations and the study of psychic energy.
In addition to Germany, the USSR and the USA joined the hunt for scientists. Several Austrian, German and French professors, archivists and parapsychological artists disappeared without a trace. But this was only part of the truth: in the November 1957 issue of one of the French newspapers, an article appeared in which it was said that ninety-eight European scientists, among whom were Marconi himself and the famous Italian physicist Landini, had secretly moved in the late 1930s. to Latin America. Later, they were joined by other specialists in various fields of knowledge who came from different countries of the world. Many of them were rich people. Thus began the construction of a closed city inside the crater of one of the extinct volcanoes in the foothills of the Andes.
Lost Book
The fantastic reality, which was once written about in the novels of Jules Verne, Herbert Wales and Alexander Belyaev, was becoming a reality. The creators of the "miracle city" were modern alchemists, among whom the name of Commander François Leve, who wrote a book under the pseudonym Fulcanelli about the alchemical transmutation (transformation) of elements, "Gothic Cathedrals", is named among them.

The creators of the city - a scientific utopia - engaged in the development of engines capable of producing an unlimited amount of energy, and the study of other mysteries of nature. They did not want their inventions to become a new weapon in the coming world war, so that in the name of "considerations of state security" they would have to give all their discoveries into the hands of the military, and themselves forever become prisoners in a "gilded cage". The masters of science decided to hide from the civilized world in that, not yet fully explored, corner of the planet, where it is still possible. Latin America remained such a "terra incognita", not fully explored, but more accessible than Antarctica.
Not a single secret, into which thousands of people are dedicated, can remain so for a long time in our time. A few years later, a book by the famous French explorer and traveler Robert Charoux, The Secret of the Andes, was published about the “city of the wise”. For the first time, it contains and analyzes all the legends concerning the secret city, about which there is still gossip in the vast territory from Caracas to Santiago.
But Sharu's book soon also seemed to share the fate of the lost city. She disappeared without a trace not only from the shelves of bookstores, but also from the repositories of several central libraries, including European ones. A copy of The Secret of the Andes, exhibited at one of the New York auctions in 1998 at a starting price of $ 450, was withdrawn from the auction even before the auction began. Bad rock or just someone really wanted the written to disappear without a trace? But maybe the book played the role of some kind of mystery - a bait to attract new worthy neophytes to the secret city, waiting for initiation?
Eyewitness accounts
In addition to the book, there are numerous eyewitnesses who claim that they not only saw the city with their own eyes, but even were inside it. Among them is the not mystically inclined Italian Narciso Genevese, a physics professor from California. According to him, he himself lived in this city in the 50s of the last century. The scientist described in detail the "city of the wise", but at the same time flatly refused to tell its coordinates. And the further fate of the professor is also unknown - in the seventies he mysteriously disappeared …
Some well-known experts, according to them, attended scientific conferences held in the mysterious city, but the invitation itself (after obtaining their consent) officially looked like "treatment in a closed sanatorium" or "romantic trip". The escorts did everything so that the invitees did not remember the way to the reserved place. Those who returned back could not share the secrets of mysterious technologies. What is the point of these invitations?

Anomalous zone
According to fragmentary information, the mysterious abode of hermit scientists is located at an altitude of over four thousand meters in the mountainous jungle. Hidden by thickets of dense vegetation and located hundreds of kilometers from asphalted highways, the city is practically invisible, and the technique invented by brilliant scientists makes it possible to block all methods of detecting it using any reconnaissance devices and even from space. But indirect "evidence" confirms the reality of the underground city - the scientists of the Chilean Research Institute of Biophysics Omar Hesse and Jorge Millstein, conducting research in the Andes, encountered anomalous phenomena that struck them.
Accurate geophysical instruments have detected electromagnetic waves and changes in the electric field, the source of which is located deep underground. The official report, submitted to the institute and falling into the hands of newspapermen, reads: “… The fluctuations clearly show that some activity is taking place several kilometers from the earth's surface. Alternating electrical waves indicate the presence of a power source. This could mean the presence of powerful engines there."
The next expedition to this anomalous zone was equipped by the Chilean military with the participation of American specialists. Its result remained unknown …
According to those who have visited this protected place, its inhabitants use new, so far unknown to mankind, energy sources obtained through the application of the theories of Marconi and Nikola Tesla, who have not yet been published on the "mainland", the creators of the principles and devices on which all modern electrical engineering rests.
Marconi and Mussolini
After the end of World War II, sensational information was found in the archives of the Italian special services that Marconi in June 1936, shortly before his death and disappearance, demonstrated to the ruler of fascist Italy Benito Mussolini the operation of a mysterious device - the "death rays" invented by him. After turning it on, all the electronics of cars passing along the highway towards Milan refused for half an hour. Among the many witnesses to this incident was Mussolini's wife Raquel, and this fact is described in her biography.
It was this mysterious incident that was never explained by anyone that formed the basis for the popular film The Day the Earth Stood Still, shot twenty years later.
Marconi, one of the most famous wave transmission specialists and Nobel Prize winner in physics, also developed special equipment that was supposed to pick up nothing more than voices from the past. His dream, which aroused the indignation of Pope Pius the Twelfth, who repeatedly spoke to him, was the desire to hear the last words of Christ on the cross. After all, Marconi was sure that etheric waves are eternal.
Back in 1919, he said in an interview with the New York Times: "If the messages that were sent ten years ago have not yet reached the nearest stars, then why, when they get there, should suddenly disappear?" Marconi also developed the theory of antigravity and methods of transmitting energy wirelessly. Many of his ideas and developments became the basis for secret weapons.
Cargo X
The articles of the famous Latin American historian, Professor Carlos Rivera, published in 1969-1971, tells how, before the Second World War, mysterious ships from France, Italy and Holland entered and unloaded the ports of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay.
Their cargo, which consisted of several hundred sealed boxes and passed through official papers as scientific equipment for researching geomagnetism and other parameters of the area (some customs documents were preserved), then did not end up in local universities and a few laboratories, but disappeared without a trace. The company that ordered it simply ceased to exist. Its CEO, one Simon de Lisle, of French descent, mysteriously died right before the completion of the work in a car accident, and the body and car were burned. No special investigation was carried out, and many local archives, as it turned out two decades later, had been carefully cleaned up by someone.
Underground freeways
One mystery gives rise to another - according to eyewitnesses, wide underground highways lead to the mysterious city, many of which are completely incomprehensibly laid in the Andes: after all, with the current level of road construction, this is almost impossible. Moreover, any attempt to break through even a small section of the route at the base of the South American mountains using the technology known today would be immediately inevitably detected. And not a single modern technology gives instant results. This mystery is reminiscent of the mystery of the ancient city of Tiahuanaco, built of giant blocks - as the legends of the South American Indians say - "white alien gods." The technique we know cannot cope with such a construction …
But the highway leading to some mysterious object was seen, according to them, not only by casual tourists, but also by local Indians. They are sure that “other people” live there - after all, ordinary Europeans, and the locals themselves, do not go into such wilderness. For many, these places are generally taboo. When approaching them, the Indians feel obvious discomfort and, referring to their beliefs, refuse to be guides even for a large reward.
