Video: It's True: The Sun Really Does Flash Green 2024, September

Spaceweather.com reports with reference to the spaceweathergallery (the section of the site where professional photographers upload their pictures) on May 4, 2019, American photographer Tom Peck, who lives in Poway (San Diego, California, USA), decided to photograph the sunsets. However, at the moment when the Sun had just set over the horizon, he suddenly saw and even managed to photograph an inexplicable green flash:

The flash occurred on the horizon near the setting of the sun. Since the spaceweather site is purely academic and the word Nibiru hates the spirit, its administrators began to bend their fingers and wonder what it is, since it is somehow inconvenient to charge their devoted user about the lens flare. Quote:

Thus, the phenomenon of “inversion layer” and “light inversion”, that is, replacing the color with the opposite one, is rightly added to the “lens flare”. We know this function in Photoshop, but “color / light inversion” in optics is something new.

At the same time, such a phenomenon as additive color mixing is a well-known old thing:

If, purely theoretically, we assume that somewhere near the yellow Sun there is a certain blue object that dwarfs the brighter Sun, at the time of sunset, when the Sun dives below the horizon, the Sun's brightness sharply decreases and the object becomes visible. Adding together with the light of a blue object, the weakened light of the Sun just gives a green glare on the clouds.

It's simple if any Kachin Blue Star exists. But if it does not seem to exist - well, then all that remains is to talk about "inversion of light" - until a complete inversion of the brain occurs.
