Seek and find - just about the meaning of life. By the way, the phrase is not at all about the fact that the meaning of life exists, but about the fact that you will find something. For example, it is convenient and pleasant for you.

The meaning of life and its search is just one of those activities that are pleasant to do either with a full stomach and free time, or, on the contrary, at the moments of loss of common sense and will for this very life …

Let's conduct a thought experiment and imagine a simple person who does not have any special abilities, but really wants to find the meaning of existence. And so, for such a person, we propose to think about the thought …

One of the principles of the Emerald Tablet says that what is below is similar to what is above. In other words, everything that exists is built on a single model. Therefore, if a person is looking for the meaning of life, then he can turn to any example and understand the meaning of existence on it.

Take a mouse for example; the usual, domestic one, which lives in the basement, and at night prowls through the master's supplies and drags everything into the hole. You can take an infusoria, but it will be too much for an unprepared reader. So, this mouse lives a very full life:

- first, she thinks; looking for food, taking care of safety and offspring, - secondly, it creates - builds a mink, gnaws through the moves, - thirdly, it participates in some kind of relationship with other species.

To summarize, the mouse goes from a state of hunger and fatigue to a state of satiety and rest. Now think, what is the meaning of her life? If I say that I have just listed - in existence, procreation and coexistence, then most likely I will be close to the truth. Its meaning is to be a small part of the whole.

Now, returning to the statement from the tablet, the very person seeking the meaning of life can draw parallels with himself. How is his life different from the life of a mouse? Does he create something fundamentally more than that mouse?

Or does it perform some special physiological function? I think you will agree that the life of a very large part of people is a transition from a state of hunger and fatigue to a state of satiety and rest. And nothing more.

Of course, they will object to me, saying that man is a higher organism and his brain allows him to create discoveries unattainable for animals. Not forgetting to mention one of the most important manifestations of the human brain - abstract thinking.

It was precisely the abstract vision that allowed a person to create a thing not for the sake of utilitarian use, but for the sake of pleasure. Man is the only creature that can create simply because he wanted to do it.

And here we pass to the second stage of understanding the meaning of human life - to the act of creation. Let's remember what a man is and how he was created according to, for example, the traditions of religious teaching. Most religions say that man was created by God, the creator. And in the Christian tradition it is directly said that man is created in the image and likeness.

This means that God created man the same as himself, endowing him with the most important quality - the ability to create. But let's imagine, since God created us in his own image, and we can create simply from the desire to create …

What if we ourselves were created simply because the Creator wanted to do it? What if he didn't put meaning in his child, but just wanted to create a piece of himself?

Similarly, we wish to have a child. After all, we do not plan before conception that we definitely want a boy, and that he has blue eyes, and that he studied at a mathematical school and graduated from Moscow State University, and then made a career in a bank. We just don't think about it.

We wish the child a part of himself. Just to see how a living being, our particle, is born and lives. And can we say that there is some special meaning in the life of a born child, except just his life?

I am sure many people will find this idea too simple. Man is generally inclined to turn everything upside down; to make the simple complex, and the complex to be considered simple. But isn't this the point of simplicity to explain? And isn't it the essence of the difficulty to divert from knowledge? But this is not the main thing.

Deep down, any parent has some goal in the birth of a child, albeit not fully realized. And this goal is available for understanding only to him alone. And if you are looking for the meaning of life and ask yourself whether the creator had any purpose in creating you - remember that you are only human and the secrets of the creator are not comprehensible to you.
