In the American city of Homestead, Florida, there is an abandoned plant of the Aerojet company, which once produced rocket engines and boosters. The factory was opened in 1963, and in 1986 it became empty when it was recognized as harmful to the surrounding farms. Today, this place is a real Mecca for industrial tourists and urban explorers who like to walk with flashlights through the dark huge rooms and even look for something here.

This place was never considered to be cursed or haunted. The factory was not built in an old Indian cemetery, and there were no fatal accidents. Therefore, industrial tourists are practically not afraid to explore the local workshops and testing laboratories. However, that could now be changing as one of these daring urban explorers managed to photograph a ghost in a former rocket factory.

The ghost scared the tourist

A user of the well-known entertainment resource "Reddit" under the pseudonym Dinoface published a post on the site in which he said that he visited this plant about a year ago and quite accidentally captured something amazing in the picture that defies rational explanation. The mysterious phantom in the image remained unnoticed by the American all this time. Only the other day, a man was reviewing his old photos and was amazed when he saw a black ghostly figure in this picture. The traveler assures that he visited the factory alone and did not meet other people there at that time.

Dinoface said he snuck into the empty Aerojet plant last January and took dozens of photographs there. They depict dirty rooms with furniture scattered in them, bird and animal bones on the floor, and even an SL-3 rocket in a silo. On the walls, the American noticed a lot of graffiti - for example, the ominous inscription "Did you get what you wanted from me?" And one of these pictures is truly shocking. It shows an empty room with a greenish armchair in the center. Directly behind this piece of furniture is a black figure that looks like a three-dimensional human shadow.

Some skeptics immediately stated that this is the shadow of the author of the photo himself, however, even with a superficial study of the image, it becomes clear that such a hypothesis does not stand up to criticism. Firstly, the man claims that he was there alone and walked with a hand-held flashlight, that is, the light source could not be behind him. Secondly, in this case, the shadow would be cast on the chair, but in the photo it is directly behind him. Thirdly, the shadow is really voluminous and is located in the middle of the room - if it were thrown onto the floor and wall, then thanks to the law of perspective it would be broken - strongly distorted.
