It is easy to assume that if ghosts settle in old houses and castles, prisons and caves, then they should definitely inhabit cemeteries. Indeed, on the old churchyards, watchmen sometimes managed to observe these phenomena.

After the Great Dane died, his ghostly figure began to appear in the cemetery. At the same time, next to Bobby, eyewitnesses almost always noticed a well-visible ghost of a man, most likely the spirit of John Gray.

The fact is that earlier on the site of this burial there was a prison, in which many prisoners were executed. It is believed that 1200 of his political opponents were killed on the orders of King Charles II.
