The Palestinian (Nile) antique mosaic was discovered at the beginning of the 17th century in the Italian city of Palestrina, which is located 37 kilometers from Rome. It was once called Prenesta and, according to legend, was founded by Telegon - the son of Odysseus. It is not known when the city was built, but in the 7th century BC it already existed.
The size of the Palestinian mosaic is 585 by 431 cm. It depicts the bed of the Nile and scenes from the life of Egypt. But the most interesting thing on it is the image of the Egyptian monsters. Apparently, dinosaurs and other animals, which are considered extinct millions of years ago, once lived in Egypt. In addition, you can see mysterious humanoid creatures on it.
