A civil servant from Bolton, in the northwest of England, remained silent about his UFO encounter for over 16 years until he retired this year.
According to him, at noon on January 4, 2001, he was returning home with his wife, who, by the way, is still a police officer, and saw a large bright white oval object with no visible markings above the houses.
“Although he was very bright, it didn't hurt to look at him. The object was slowly rising above one of the houses on the street. I stopped the car to watch him, but he began to shift to the right and increased his speed.”The speed of the UFO increased to about 30 km / h, and then the object abruptly changed course, made a turn almost at right angles and disappeared behind houses.
“I started the car and, hoping to see him, chased him down a side street,” but when the eyewitnesses arrived at an alley where, according to their assumptions, a UFO was to appear, he was not there.
Both husband and wife describe the same UFO, however, they are very worried that they have different memories of the place and time of observation of the object.
“It worries me a lot, because the time difference in which we saw the object is several hours. I believe that we saw him around noon, and my wife claims that it was in a completely different area and at 4 o'clock, - a few days later the dream men went to that street and took some photographs, then to reproduce with the help of Photoshop a picture of events.
“I didn’t inform about it earlier because then I was working in a responsible job and didn’t want to be laughed at. I'm retired now, so it doesn't matter now. And my wife still serves as a police officer,”- an eyewitness, who had previously been rather skeptical about UFOs, found it necessary to add that the case took place within the city, near which there are no military bases or any other secret facilities.
