Quite a long time has passed since the accident at the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl, but many questions remain relevant to this day. When people were engaged in the elimination of the consequences at Chernobyl, they used various equipment that became radioactive and was stored at specialized landfills.

But recently it became known that now this equipment is not on these landfills, so who and why could have taken it out and why was it left without the attention of the authorities?

I would like to note that not one unit and not even a hundred, but thousands of units of various equipment were used there, which poses a threat and is contaminated with radiation. A few hours later, serviceable and new equipment broke down, unable to withstand the huge level of radiation. The technicians used fields, which are now empty, as landfills.

Theoretically, the metal could be sent for melting, but people should understand this danger, because it is difficult to get rid of radiation. Only time can reduce the dangerous dose of radiation for humans, but this takes more than one decade.
