An unusual sight was observed in Southern California on January 5, 2015. Ken Roberts was returning home from work when a bright trail in the sky caught his attention. He stopped and started filming what was happening. A large object entered the Earth's atmosphere, leaving behind a bright trail.
At first, Roberts thought that he had witnessed a large meteorite fall, but then another object separated from the object and flew in the opposite direction from the falling UFO.

After flying off a certain distance, he accelerated sharply and disappeared from sight. Moreover, the separation itself and the subsequent acceleration of the object leaves no doubt that this goes beyond the capabilities of earthly technologies.

Roberts writes that he regrets that this damn roof and dense buildings prevented him from tracking where the main object fell. He did not dare to climb over the fence into someone else's yard. But he writes that he did not hear any sound either at the time of the flight of objects, or after they disappeared. If the main object fell, then a strong explosion would surely be heard.
Everything that happened seems to be that when entering the dense layers of the atmosphere of a certain spacecraft, an emergency situation occurred, as a result of which, the crew decided to urgently evacuate and fired the emergency capsule.
