The first documents indirectly supporting the theory that Hitler secretly fled to Argentina were published back in May 2013. The Western press drew attention to them only now - when new details were added after the public speech of the famous journalist and researcher Gerard Williams.

Williams claims that the German leader lived in Argentina for at least 16 years. The journalist operates with real CIA documents.

Indeed, theoretically, the Fuhrer could have escaped from Germany by plane to Denmark, from there to General Franco, who would have ferried him to the small lake town of San Carlos de Bariloche. German pilot Peter Baumgart claims that he personally put Hitler on the plane.

The information from the CIA archives is quite official. One of the documents mentions an agent, codenamed CIMELODY-3, who met with the head of the CIA, David Brixnor. True, he said that Hitler was seen in Colombia.

British historian Simon Dunstan echoes Williams. He believes that not only Hitler survived, but also Eva Braun - doubles remained in the bunker. His statement is based only on logic - formally Hitler's body was identified by the jaw. Whether the former Fuhrer was hiding in Argentina is really unlikely to be understood in the coming years: according to the law, the next part of the CIA documents on the second world power will be required to be made public only in 2034.
