According to astronomers from Europe, they managed to partially prove the uniqueness of the planet Earth in the Universe. This led them to the conclusion that most likely aliens cannot exist.

Astronomers at Uppsala University, Scandinavia's oldest institution of higher education, conducted a study that partially proved the uniqueness of planet Earth in the universe. University representative astronomer Eric Zakrisson has created a collection of exoplanets similar to Earth. Using computer simulations and the laws of physics, scientists have created a picture of the evolution of the universe, which lasted for 13.8 billion years. The research results are posted on the arXiv server.

During the experiment, it turned out that the Earth is only one of the 700 million trillion exoplanets of this type, but, nevertheless, none of these planets are similar to ours. According to the representative of the group of scientists Eric Zarkisson, the experiment helped refute the Copernican principle, which states that the position of the Earth and the Sun in the Universe is far from unique. Previously, scientists have already emphasized that many supernovae with radiation that are impossible for the emergence and support of higher forms of life are located on the spiral turns of the galaxy.

This model also has disadvantages: scientists have analyzed only part of the universe, the rest is hidden from our eyes. Nevertheless, the scale of this study is quite possible to doubt the existence of aliens in principle. In this regard, I recall the Fermi paradox, which states that an endless number of developed civilizations should exist in the Universe, but, meanwhile, we have not received a single piece of evidence in favor of these civilizations. Until recently, the hypothesis of the uniqueness of the Earth was only a hypothetical explanation of the Fermi paradox, but today this hypothesis has every promise of becoming an axiom.

Earlier, Australian scientists suggested that greenhouse gases and glaciation prevented the origin of life on such exoplanets of the solar system as Mars and Venus.

If the results of further similar studies are similar to the result obtained at the University of Uppsala, then the planet Earth will be the only habitat of the highest forms of life in the Universe, the radius of only a known part of which is about 15 billion light years.
