GMO. Until now, all attempts of this corporation to conquer the European market have been a fiasco, but today the unexpected happened: Europe agreed to purchase genetically modified products.
To begin with, let's figure out who and why needed the active distribution of GMOs, and what the economic cooperation that is about to take place can lead to.
The White House once said: "The Trans-Pacific Partnership allows America, and not countries like China, to write the rules of the game for the twenty-first century, which is especially important for such a dynamic region as the Asia-Pacific."
Such statements make it clear the purpose of the creation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TTP): US economic dominance under the pretext of cooperation, total control of the world market, isolation of China due to the growth of economies in the Asia-Pacific region. The goals are so transparent, and the means are so obvious that it doesn't even make sense to even discuss TTP, everything is so clear.
As you know, the next goal of the Americans is to conclude the Transatlantic Partnership (TTIP), the main goal of which is to control the economy of the European Union and isolate Russia. Everything is like in the TTR, only the geographical direction has changed. In recent years, the United States has made a lot of efforts to create a free trade zone with Europe, but this has its own difficulties. Today 22 countries are on strike against TTIP. The fact is that the Americans are proposing to bring the quality of products to a single standard, and the EU does not want to approve this.
It is no secret that it is in the United States that most of the products containing GMOs are concentrated (the GMO market leader is Monsanto). If TTIP comes into force, Europeans will be obliged to purchase genetically modified products, and this will no longer be disputed. Thus, American corporations will control all European companies and the economies of the EU countries in particular.
Despite the fact that farmers and agricultural companies in Europe are actively protesting the purchase of GMO products, the first steps towards TTIP are already being made. Today it became known that EU officials have approved a new variety of soybeans of the company "Monsanto" and the import of these products. Thus, this American corporation is still making its way to the European market. Back in January, MEPs asked the EU Commissioner for Health not to allow the import of Monsanto products to European countries, but today a completely different decision has been made. Fortunately, while any of the EU countries can refuse to use genetically modified beans. Unfortunately, if the "Transatlantic" takes place, this will no longer be possible.
