In recent years, many people have appeared who claim that they are communicating with some kind of "higher intelligence." Moreover, they do not communicate at the "UFO ladder", but in an ordinary setting, listening to the "inner voice", ie telepathically.
Studies conducted by foreign psychiatrists, in particular, by the director of the American Institute for Abnormal Trauma Rimma Leibou, by the Japanese researcher Dr. Nakagawa, indicate that many contactees are mentally ill.
While Western psychologists and parapsychologists are trying to figure out the nature of this mysterious phenomenon, information received by contactees is increasingly found on the pages of newspapers and magazines. Many contactees read sermons, publish books, even create new sects, religions, churches.
In this regard, the following questions become acutely relevant:
- What is the nature of the information received by contactees? - Does it represent social value? - How does contact affect a person's mental health? - From whom does the contactee receive information? - Who and under what conditions can become a contactee?

Analyzing the information received by the contactees, it is important to stipulate that the contact involves the receipt of information through a certain entity, an intermediary ("higher mind", "alien from the constellation Orion", "cosmic teacher", etc.), which communicates telepathically with a person. Scientists called this mediator from the Subtle World “contactee”. All other cases of paranormal receipt of information (prophetic dreams, hearing and seeing at a great distance, etc.) are usually attributed to clairvoyance, intuition and telepathic human-to-human communication.

All messages of contactees from the spheres of the Subtle World can be divided into three large groups.
The first group is spiritual information of ethical content, intended either for the contactee personally or for humanity as a whole and containing various calls such as: "Humanity must repent …", "The atmosphere of the Earth is filled with dead vibrations …", etc.
And here the information coming from the Dark Hierarchy is intended to cause fear, panic, or to cause pride and high conceit in the victim. And only the knowledge given by the Hierarchy of Light can raise the spirit of a person and give him to experience true happiness.
The second group consists of applied information about specific technical devices, short-term predictions and other information verified by experience.
The third group is personal instructions given to the contactee regarding his behavior in a particular situation. Naturally, the truth criterion can only be established for applied information, since they can be verified experimentally. The truth of personal information can be judged by the adequacy of the contactee's behavior.
For spiritual information, only a criterion of social significance can be established: the fundamental novelty of information and the presence of students who use the information received in contact.
Scientists made a selection of information received by the contactees, and also conducted a number of experiments to reveal the truth of the applied information. The contactee was asked to answer a question from experimental physics or chemistry, and then indicate the whereabouts of the missing person. In order to simplify the processing of the data received, the question was asked about a person just found by the police. But neither the researcher nor the investigator knew the last fact.
And here are the results: out of 110 contactees who took part in the experiment, 1 person gave correct information about the whereabouts of the missing person, 52 people evaded the answer (and there was no answer like “I don’t know”), and the remaining 57 gave the wrong answer. When answering the questions, not only correct, but even any correct answers were not received. It is necessary to clarify that the question being asked was such that the subject knowingly did not know the exact answer.
Thus, it follows from this that contact is not a way to obtain information of practical value. An analysis of the social value of spiritual information shows that most of the instructions applicable to the execution repeat the already known esoteric sources of antiquity, and in addition, often in different contacts a mutually exclusive answer is given to the same question.
It is also important to note the following fact: a comparison of the information received by the contactee and the data of psychological testing reveals a very curious dependence. For example, a power-hungry person is told that he is the “savior of humanity”, a person with a tendency to “self-pity” - that he “bears the cross of past Lives” and “will die a martyr's death,” etc.
Thus, in contact, a person hears what he wants to hear. This “self-isolation” usually prevents the widespread dissemination of the contactee's ideas. It is important to note that in this study the sample was not random: only people who stated that they had constant contact were studied. At the same time, we know from literature that some of the philosophical and artistic works, possibly, were created if their authors had contact with the Subtle or with the Higher World.
Observing several dozen contactees for 3-4 years, scientists have identified the dynamics of changes in their mental state. It can be divided into 3 levels - this is "acquaintance", "dictation of emotional states" and "zombie".
"Acquaintance". At this level, the person hears a voice giving advice and answering questions. Here a "key" is being picked up to a person. Often a contactee (potential possessor) makes a message like: “It's time for you to take on the salvation of mankind…”, “You are the Mother of God…”, “You are Jesus Christ…”, etc. Refusal to contact at this level leads to its termination. Out of 100 contactees, 60-70% stop contacting after 10-15 months. About 10% remain at this level for 3 years or more. The rest 20-30% go to the "level of dictation" of emotional states.
"Dictation of emotional states". This level is characterized by the appearance of obsessive depressive states. At the same time, the “voice from the astral plane” often becomes “annoying”, and the indicators in studies deteriorate (for schoolchildren and students). In this state, a person often goes to suicide, and sometimes commits illegal actions. So, according to the study of scientists, out of 190 suicides, 25 were supposedly contactees, and 5 of them unequivocally reported this in the remaining diaries.
"Zombie or Obsession". After 2-3 months of the “dictation level”, the “zombie” level begins. The contactee has memory gaps, slows down his reaction and speech, his gait sometimes becomes slow, shuffling, and the person loses control over his actions. If we take as 100% the number of people who have not stopped contact in 3 years, then 60-70% of them resemble zombies - human robots.
It should be noted that other contactees are characterized by an adequate (real) perception of the world.
