Is this a real photograph? Yes, she's real. No fakes and corrections (except for the text in the photo, added by the author), no computer editing with the help of graphic editors.
Question: "What do we see?"
Some researchers suggest that in the upper left corner of the image there is a helicopter or a plane of the "Cessna" type; to the right there could be a boat or a submarine; below - a UFO or disk-shaped plane, under it - the trail of a Bigfoot (or a four-fingered alien found during the UFO crash in Roswell); and at the very bottom of the image is a jet plane.
Hints of such devices can be found in some history books, ancient literature, and many myths. According to these sources, in the distant past, there were people who could fly through the air and swim under water in devices similar to modern ones. Sumerian and Indian literature is sometimes overwhelming with detailed descriptions of certain devices. We can find mention of such machines in Greek mythology or in the early literature of Hittite, as well as in the myths of the aborigines of Australia and New Guinea, American aborigines, the myths of European peoples, the Yakuts; almost everywhere there are myths and legends.
Or, as some scholars suggest, the next mystery of the ancients is just an illusion. This could be reality too:
But where is the truth in this case? We see either evidence of a highly technological advanced culture (in fact, from our point of view), or - another kind of anomalous combination of lines and images, formed into a bizarre pattern, grinning at us through time from Egyptian hieroglyphs.
However, if we have at least a little knowledge in the field of Egyptian culture, the writing system, as well as the well-known tendency to "correct" the inscriptions whenever the monarch wanted to do so, we can very simply explain this phenomenon. Plaster mixed with colored stone powder was an ideal material for modifications. It is only a coincidence that the symbols of Abydos are similar to modern transportation devices. Perhaps the inscriptions of Abydos have a deeper meaning, hidden from our perception under the enormous thickness of time. However, I would prefer to abandon philosophical speculations and try to deal with these inscriptions by conventional means.

The first thing that attracts the attention of every researcher who has studied Egyptian literature at least to the extent that allows him to understand the meanings of some hieroglyphs and their combinations is the two extreme left symbols. They represent a standard combination, meaning. These two symbols stand for "king". In the image taken by Sherri Nakken (although it is not a very clear image), additional symbols typical of ancient and later Egyptian culture can be seen, accompanied by the image of the pharaoh's cartouche.
The image provided to me for deciphering the name of the cartouche was of poor quality, so I cannot vouch for the accuracy of the deciphering of the pharaoh's name, but it seems to be Senworsets. The first symbol in the cartouche was used by all pharaohs, starting from the IX dynasty, and means Ra (the sun god). Obviously, some of the hieroglyphs are laudable epithets, possibly describing the valor of the pharaoh.
It will not be possible for people who are not familiar with the Khemt language to decipher the meanings of the hieroglyphs without the help of an experienced Egyptologist. I tried to identify the meanings of the symbols with standard hieroglyphs, as you can see in the picture on the left. Most of the signs are easily comparable, there are only a few signs that cannot be made out due to strong corrections; the other part of the symbols is unclear. Unfortunately, there is a crack in the stone containing the symbols, which destroyed part of the inscriptions. The symbols are very familiar, I may have seen them on some other inscriptions in the temple of Abydos. I tried to compare them with about 4800 hieroglyphs from my collection, but I could not find similar ones in outline.
There is one perplexing aspect to these inscriptions. The temple at Abydos (or Abdjou, as the Egyptians called it) is a very remarkable place in terms of hieroglyphic writing. All inscriptions are pristine and as far as I can tell, nowhere in the building are there any corrections that we talked about above. The temple began to be built by Seti, and was completed by his son Ramses II during the Classical Revival era. Obvious corrections on the inscription in question - can be excluded. However, without translating the inscription, it is difficult to understand why the original inscription was changed, apparently twice. We can conclude that the inscription is not a record of the ancients showing their knowledge of mechanical engineering, similar to modern transportation devices. Apparently - these are coinciding combinations of very similar symbols.
Are there other examples or references to similar unusual symbols? To answer this question we must pay attention to other cryptic inscriptions. If something does not fit into the usual framework of "religious symbolism", scientists-archaeologists try to limit themselves to such explanations, or draw by the ears all the available knowledge about ancient civilizations. However, new views and new approaches to the study of such problems could give a new understanding of the history of the past.
