When a dog, a cat lives at home, fish swim or a snake sits in an aquarium, this, of course, is very cool. But what if a person wants a combat robot from the anime, the space supermarine Master Chief from Halo, or the vocaloid Hatsune Miku to be at home in the evening? This is more difficult. You can, of course, buy yourself figurines of these characters, put them on the shelf and be happy. But they don’t move, don’t communicate with the person while he is at work. The Plastic Master Chief won't text him to ask how he is doing. Very annoying, right? The Japanese also thought about this, deciding to realize their old dream - to live with their beloved character. And we are not talking about big cuddles or some other nonsense. The guys from Gatebox have developed a real "live" hologram that can support a conversation, send an SMS or, for example, watch a movie with the owner in the evening.

One of the commercials posted below demonstrates how the hologram interacts with the owner: wakes up, wishes good morning, warns that it will rain, and recommends bringing an umbrella with you. He urges the owner not to be late for work, and sweetly encourages him with text messages before the start of the working day. During the day, the smart hologram continues to communicate with the main character of the video, waiting for him to return home. After he informs the girl from the bank that he will be soon, the bot prepares for the arrival of the owner and turns on the light in the apartment. It reacts not only to text messages, but also to voice messages.

It is not very clear from the trailer how all this will work, and the official site does not indulge in details, but everything looks very interesting. The adolescent's virtual girlfriend is wearing different outfits that match the time of day. During the day we see a dress on her, in the evening she changes into nice pajamas and ears, in which she watches TV with a guy before going to bed and drinks tea from a virtual mug.

The hologram is pretty big, pretty, and very expensive. You can already place a preliminary order on the manufacturer's website. The holographic young lady will cost the buyer 298 thousand yen, which at the exchange rate at the time of this writing is about 156 thousand rubles. Expensive. On the other hand, maybe the pleasure is worth it.
