Voronezh teenagers (the names are not called for obvious reasons) recently went with their parents to nature, but since children are always bored with their parents, the boys at some point lagged behind the adults in the forest and soon wandered into an impassable thicket.
In search of a way out of it, the teenagers came across a clearing with a mysterious hill. Coming closer to him due to simple human curiosity, the children heard a strange buzzing, while they smelled the smell of burnt metal. In addition, there were some other mysterious structures or mechanisms in the clearing, later schoolchildren would call them alien, because, in their opinion, they were simply fantastic, unlike anything else.
Frightened by what they saw, the teenagers rushed, as they say, on their heels. To their surprise, they soon left the thicket, and then just as easily found their parents. All attempts to return with adults and see what kind of mysterious hill stands in the thicket were unsuccessful, the children could not show their parents even the thicket itself - it simply was not here and could not be, as the parents, who had been in these places.
It turns out that the students "fell" into some kind of wormhole and moved to another world? But what a strange clearing they found in it, what a fantastic hill? Directly "roadside picnic" from the novel by the Strugatsky brothers …
If teenagers did not come up with all this (which often also happens), then they were just lucky to get out of the parallel world - so quickly and practically without any consequences (even a temporary change did not happen).
