In Klassekampen on September 1, 2017, the newspaper's employee Magnus Lysberg made a sensational statement about the conflict in Ukraine. He writes: "It is clear that Russia must bear most of the moral blame for the war that broke out in Ukraine, but the misfortune did not come unexpectedly."

Lyusberg does not attempt to document this claim. And it's a shame, because it would be interesting to see how he managed to do it.

We invite Lyusberg to read his own newspaper, namely, an article by experienced international journalist Peter M. Johansen about the US-led coup d'etat in Kiev on February 22, 2014. Johansen writes: “The opposition, with strong and active support from the US and the EU, put powerful pressure on Yanukovych to step down from office. Russian President Vladimir Putin at that time was busy with the Sochi Olympics, which lasted until February 23. Yanukovych yielded step by step on the main points: the re-introduction of the constitution adopted by the Orange Revolution in December 2004, the creation of a government of national unity and the holding of new elections a year before the expiration of the presidential term.

Agreements with opposition leaders - Arseniy Yatsenyuk from Batkivshchyna under the leadership of former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, Vitaly Klitschko from the German party of the Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reforms (UDAR) and Oleg Tyagnibok from ultra-nationalist and right-wing extremist Svoboda - were signed several by once after negotiations, which often lasted until late at night.

Each time, Right Sector and other neo-Nazi and right-wing paramilitary groups responded with attacks on the police, often with incendiary grenades and the seizure of public buildings in central Kiev.

The opposition tore up the agreements and compromises concluded the previous evening and demanded new meetings and negotiations between the parties. It was a pattern of actions adopted by the opposition leaders, which they did not want to violate."

Phone conversation "Fuck the EU!" February 4 between US Deputy Foreign Secretary Victoria Nuland and Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt shows that the US was actively involved in these events and disapproved and distrustful of the EU's attempts to negotiate, at least as long as Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski did not come to Kiev. During the conversation, Nuland named Yatsenyuk the next prime minister.

Everything that Johansen describes in his article is confirmed by numerous documents. Other sources, in particular in the United States itself, show that the United States has been preparing a coup in Ukraine for many years. And there is no doubt that the American embassy in Kiev, the CIA, with the involvement of various NGOs and other Western intelligence services, have long and seriously worked on the implementation of the anti-Russian coup in Kiev.

Promotional video:

A document titled "Breakfast with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt" reports that Soros and US Ambassador Pyatt discussed how to conduct a propaganda campaign against Russia in Ukraine. The meeting was also attended by the leaders of the IRF (Rapid Reaction Force) and the director of USAID, who also played a key role in the coup.

Ambassador Piatt outlined the main lines of the propaganda war with Russia, which Soros supported more than willingly.

When supporters of the coup d'état came to power, their first step was to attack the Russian language in Ukraine.

Russia did not participate in any of these events. All the time, her reaction appeared only after them. Therefore, it is very strange that the employee of the Klassekampen newspaper Magnus Lusberg makes Russia responsible for the occurrence of this conflict. Usually Klassekampen publishes analyzes much better than this.
