Just over two weeks ago, Twitter user @strayedaway (real name Ty) received a strange voicemail on his phone: a robotic voice reading letters in the phonetic alphabet. After deciphering a simple code, a certain warning was received for earthlings about a possible invasion of alien beings.

After the code was converted to English, he provided Ty a message: "S Danger SOS, it is very important for you to evacuate, be careful, they are not human 042933964230 SOS Danger SOS." Shortly after he posted about the strange voicemail on Twitter, other users revealed that they had received strange voice messages reminiscent of him, warning that there are non-human beings on Earth.

Here's a transcript of some of the other messages received by Twitter users:

“This is not a test, this is not a joke. Over the past few years, we have wanted to send an automated voice message to people who understand and are not afraid. The truth that other biological beings have led a great creation that sustains life. But as chaos comes to your planet, we must show that there are different ways to keep the peace. Many people disagree with what we say, so they hunt us down. We will do our best to make the most of our opportunities. Clear your airspace for safe consequences."

Ty's series of numbers, published in his original post, were interpreted as coordinates, but depending on the formatting, they indicate a location near Africa or Asia.

More troubling than the voicemail messages, though, are the messages Ty began to receive after posting about them, including threats and more coded messages, including Morse code that read: “The message received is related to the death of Stephen Hawking, you're not ready to them.

It is not yet clear whether these messages are genuine or a complex puzzle game by an unknown joker.
