On Tuesday, the Kaluga journalist and writer Alexei Urusov told the residents and guests of the city about mysticism, houses where paranormal phenomena occur, legends and traditions of old Kaluga.
The lecture "Legends and secrets of old Kaluga" gathered in the Innovation-Cultural Center many people who wanted to hear an interesting story, and there were so many people in the audience that many had to listen to the story while standing.
Alexey Urusov, as he himself notes, has been dealing with the topic of mystical Kaluga since his studies at the history department of Kaluga State University.
Since then, he has studied dozens, if not hundreds of historical evidence, as well as legends and legends about Kaluga haunted houses, such as the Zolotarevs' estate or the merchant Terenin's mansion (now the Museum of Local Lore and the Registry Office, respectively), underground passages, treasures.
He briefly spoke about all this during the last lecture.
The townspeople will be able to get acquainted with the mystical Kaluga in more detail in September, when Alexei Urusov will present his book "Legends and Secrets of Old Kaluga" to the public.
