Phil Mahoney of Lambton was an eight-year-old when the UFO landed in a local park, but he still vividly remembers that day, it's just impossible to forget. His neighbor, a guy named George Bunn, was sitting in a pub across from the park's rotunda when his attention was drawn to a silvery object that flew across the sky and then landed next to the rotunda.

Phil said that after what he saw, George immediately sobered up and rushed to the police station to talk about what he saw in the park. However, the police smelled alcohol emanating from him, and did not believe the story told, sending him home to sleep off.

The next morning, the park ranger approached the rotunda and discovered that someone had burned the grass near it the previous night. The scorched halo resembled a circle and was approximately 40 meters in diameter. The caretaker went to the police station and reported what he saw, where he learned about yesterday's testimony of a pub visitor. A few hours later, all the neighbors knew that George had seen a flying saucer and rushed into the park.

Phil also came to the park with his brothers and sisters. He said that the halo was huge, and the grass did not grow in that place for about 18 months. When it appeared, it had a very strange shape: 6-, 7- and 8-petal clover, which does not grow anywhere else in the city. It later turned out that not only George witnessed the UFO landing. That night his friend was with him, but he was ashamed to go to the police and ran away.
