This incident happened in 1975 near Los Banos, California. At about 1 am Jack Adlson and Mark Frank were driving north on Highway 5 from Fresno to Stockton. When they arrived at the intersection on Highway 152, something amazing happened.
“I (Mark) was driving and when we got to Route 152 I saw a glow ahead. I pushed Jack, who was asleep, and he also saw this glow in the sky. We drove past an intersection and Jack said that a strange light now follows our car. I also saw this bright orange light moving in our direction in the east and stopped the car for us to get a better look.
The glow was getting closer and closer to us and then I realized that it was not just light and said aloud “My God, this is a flying saucer!”. Jack was very scared. Earlier we heard a story about how a UFO kidnapped two guys in the south - Hickson and Parker, and Jack did not want this to happen to him.
But when I tried to start the car, nothing happened, the car did not start, and even the lights became paler. We continued to look at the luminous object, which now did not move, but froze in one place. It looked like a flat disc, like a real plate, only inverted. We looked at her with fear, but at the same time we were very curious about what would happen next.
The object hovered and did not appear threatening, so I decided to get out of the car. Jack stayed inside. Suddenly a ray of light emerged from the bottom of the "plate", which was equal in width above and below. Then we saw how incomprehensible dark silhouettes floated down it from the "plate". Jack began to say that we need to get out of here.
The funny thing is that while we were standing like this and looking at the UFO, several cars drove past us on the highway. They didn't even stop, as if they hadn't noticed anything. It seemed to me very funny, not noticing this phenomenon was like not noticing an elephant in a small room.
Seeing that I was not coming back, Jack decided to get out of the car and come up to me. And I stood, looked at the object and its beam, and even lit a cigarette in anticipation of what would happen next. Then Jack said that there was a noise in the field by the road, and then there was an eerie loud squeal from the field. We were so scared that we rushed to the car.

There was another noise, even louder, and then this big black thing with wings jumped out from the field right at us. It looked like a huge bat, but it did not fly, but walked on its feet, swinging slightly like a penguin. And it looked right at us.
It was the worst thing you can imagine. Its nose was flattened like a macaque, and it went bouncing and squealing. We backed away, thinking that it wanted to attack us, but it spread its wings even wider and became larger than our car. After that, the creature flew up sharply.
We clearly saw how it circled above us and flew away somewhere, continuing to emit a strange squeal. At that moment, we noticed that the bright orange light was also gone. After that we called a tow truck for our car, which never started.
Later we learned that in the same month near Oakland, in the same state of California, a man named Lloyd King said that he saw a frightening creature perched on a eucalyptus tree near his house. It was at least 5 feet (1.5 meters) high and had a head similar to that of a vulture. It had large gray wings.
When this creature flapped its wings and spread them, and then flew away, it became clear that it was much larger in size than any local bird. Its wingspan was about 15 feet (4.5 meters). It is possible that King saw the same creature that we encountered on the field and which appeared from a UFO."
