Tehran case, 1976
On September 19, 1976, an unidentified flying object appeared on the radars of Iranian air defense, approaching the country's capital, Tehran.
Immediately on alert, a Phantom II fighter was raised to intercept. From 242 kilometers west of Tehran, the pilot reported seeing a bright glow over 50 kilometers away.
When he approached 35 kilometers to the UFO, the equipment of the fighter almost stopped working. Having managed to turn around, the pilot directed the plane to the base, and only at a considerable distance from the UFO, the fighter systems began to function normally again.
The second plane was already in the air, in the cockpit of which was Lieutenant Parvis Jafari. The UFO was still moving at high speed, but the pilot was able to see another detached from the object.
Jafari mistook this for a possible attack and tried to respond by firing a missile, but the aircraft's electronics failed. After performing several maneuvers, the pilot saw the small object returning to the main one.
Shortly thereafter, the UFO sharply increased its speed. Jafari described it as a luminous object that twinkled with blue, red, green and orange lights.
In 2007, Jafari, who rose to the rank of General of the Air Force, said that the object he met in the 76th year could not have a terrestrial origin.

Malmstrom case
At a military base in Malmstrom, Montana, the US military tested and maintained intercontinental ballistic missiles during the Cold War. This made the base an object of the highest secrecy and combat readiness.
Captain Robert Salas took over duty on March 16, 1967, and saw something incredible with his own eyes.
According to the readings of the consoles, all of the base's missiles were suddenly unable to launch. On top of that, there have been reports of strange glowing red objects hovering over the base.
Despite all the efforts of the engineers, the missiles remained disabled, and the situation changed only when unknown objects left the airspace above the base.
The military carefully studied what happened, but no intelligible explanation was offered. In the course of the incident, the missile systems were damaged. Boeing specialists examined the missiles and found no defects in them. The engineers were able to create similar problems in missile systems by being exposed to a powerful electromagnetic pulse. But in order to act on a rocket located in a mine, and even from the air, power was required, which in 1967 was not available to anyone on planet Earth.
The true nature of the incident remains a mystery to this day.
