The great day is rapidly approaching, which will be celebrated for 74 times. Of course, this is Victory Day, in honor of which I would like to tell you a curious story today. I often write about various finds and treasures, so why not talk about the famous treasures of the Nazis.

The fact is that quite recently Germany began searching for treasures after confirming the authenticity of the old diary of a German officer. In that diary, the German described where the famous treasures of the Third Reich are.

A German named Egon Ollenhauer writes that, by order of Hitler himself, the values were hidden somewhere in Poland in 11 places at once. Allegedly, they overtook as many as 260 trucks with valuable cargo so that the USSR did not receive this treasure at its disposal.

It is believed that one of the caches hides as many as 47 paintings by Rubens, Monet, Botticelli and Caravaggio, which were stolen from France. It is also believed that one of the other repositories boasts a collection of religious animals that were collected by the people of Heinrich Himmler from the Ahnenerbe organization, which specialized in the study of mystical and otherworldly forces.

Journalists report that the aforementioned Ollenhauer's diary, which was written by hand, was carefully checked for authenticity at once in five scientific institutions in Germany to exclude the possibility of misinformation. It is believed that for about ten years these records were kept by Franz Dziewiatek, head of the Polish-German Foundation Schlesische Brücke Dariusz. According to him, he received the diary as a gift from the "German Christian organization from the city of Quedlinburg", who had previously received it from one of the relatives of the German soldiers, which hid treasures. The information was revealed to the world only now because of the conditions under which the diary was transmitted. Namely, it was necessary to wait for the time when no one would remain alive who would participate in the concealment of the jewels.

Those who handed over the diary want the treasure to be found and given to its owners. First of all, they plan to look in the secret room of the palace, in a huge well and at the very bottom of a deep pond. It is not known whether it will ever be possible to find these jewels and artifacts, but the diary itself is already a treasure, because it describes the details of the last days of the war in Silesia.

It is noteworthy that the treasures described above are far from the first, and clearly not the last jewels of the Nazis who desperately want to find. So, for example, there is the equally famous Amber Room, which the Nazis stole from Russia during World War II in 1941, and then it disappeared without a trace, even if they tried to find it quite recently - in 2017 near Dresden.

A year earlier, scientists and archaeologists tried hard to find the amazing "golden train". This armored train, which was approximately 150 meters long, often carried various jewelry, including gold. However, at the end of the war, he went to Walbrzych from the German fortress Breslau (at the moment it is the city of Wroclaw in Poland) and disappeared on the way. It is believed that the Nazis hid it somewhere from the bombing of the USSR, perhaps in a tunnel that collapsed afterwards, and therefore disappeared without a trace for the transports. The war has been over for 74 years, but it continues to keep many secrets that, perhaps, will never be solved.
