British researcher Amir Williams from Glyndor University issued a statement that there is an underground vampire network in the UK with 15,000 members.

"This subculture is a group of people who drink the blood of people, but at the same time their laws imply that they know from whom blood can be taken and from whom it is categorically impossible," the professor of psychology says.

“For example, sanguine vampires receive blood from certain parts of the body of volunteer donors, and they should not take too much. There are also mediums and hybrid vampires who are affiliated with donors, enthusiasts, and role players who are part of the community. It's very interesting and absolutely real."

Williams, convinced that bloodsuckers are "not crazy or mentally ill," urged them to come out of the darkness and tell people about their lifestyle and habits. In addition, he hopes that British vampires will express a desire to take part in his research, with the help of which an expert on non-traditional religious movements intends to study the bloodsucking community in more detail.

The results of this work, as Williams plans, will form the basis of scientific publications, thanks to which the public can learn more about the representatives of this frightening subculture.

“We need to study vampires to reduce our fear of them and allow them to be accepted as part of society,” the scientist said. “I don’t want to label them and call them crazy or bad. They are just people we need to know more about."

WE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID

The call of Williams, surprisingly, was not ignored by the English vampires. Just a couple of weeks after the statement of the professor of psychology on one of the TV channels, a married couple Pirette Blaze and Andy Fils from South Wales appeared, who admitted that they really are part of the 15,000-strong British vampire community and want to introduce people to their way of life.

Spouses with a child claim that they are no different from other married couples, with the exception of an addiction to the use of human blood. And the purpose of their visit to television was the desire to convey to viewers that people like them should not be afraid at all. In fact, vampires are not a threat to society.

Piretta and Andy mostly feed on each other. Andy said that the sensation of drinking his wife's blood prevails over the sensations he experiences during sex. Such an action, according to him, personifies not only physical, but also spiritual unity.

At meetings of the vampire community, they also use the blood of "colleagues". Each vampire, before offering his blood, undergoes a medical examination, and the blood of a person he does not know is never used and, moreover, does not attack others.

“It's completely safe and not scary at all,” explains Piretta. "All community members are thoroughly screened, including for mental health and bloodborne diseases."

Refuting the myth that vampires cannot drink blood without fangs, Andy stated live: “You don't need to rip your neck. This is another delusion. Real vampires respect the body of their donor, therefore, in order to avoid a large number of scars, they try to bite in the same place."

The couple believe that people's misconceptions about "bloodsuckers" are the result of the influence of the American film industry. “It really drives me crazy! People are gullible and easily influenced by Hollywood,”says Piretta.

USA IS THE BIGGEST PSYCHOLOGY IN THE WORLD

In principle, many Britons and … Americans themselves agree with the opinion of the English vampire! Indeed, as American psychologists say, in the United States in recent years, a real epidemic of mental disorders due to the passion for vampires has begun. The police are increasingly confronted with senseless and, at the same time, terrible crimes, the "authors" of which claim to be representatives of a "special race" endowed with supernatural powers.

The criminals are mainly adolescents and young people who, being too carried away by playing vampires, begin to imagine themselves as part of a mystical world that, in their opinion, exists not only in their sick heads.

“I’m a vampire and now I’ll eat you,” Josephine Rebecca Smith said recently in all seriousness before an attack on an elderly homeless man sleeping in his electric wheelchair outside the front porch of a Hooters restaurant in Florida.

After that, the young maniac attacked 69-year-old Milton Ellis and began to literally gnaw out pieces of flesh from his face, neck and lips. The unfortunate man somehow managed to start his wheelchair at the last moment and, having escaped from the hands of a crazy stranger, got to a nearby gas station, where, bleeding and already losing consciousness, he called 911 from a pay phone.

Police who quickly arrived on call found both the victim of the attack and the perpetrator herself at the scene. Josephine Smith was almost naked and covered in blood. For what she rushed to bite him, the "vampire" could not coherently explain, muttering cinematic nonsense about the "call of blood" and immortal ghouls.

THE ELIXIR OF STANFORD YOUTH

Meanwhile, scientists from Stanford University recently came to the conclusion that someone who constantly renews his blood at the expense of someone else's can live a very long time. Blood cells from another organism are able to regenerate old organs. However, this happens only if the old people are fed with young juices.

The specialists obtained these results by making blood transfusions from young laboratory mice to old ones. Young blood acts in the most beneficial way on the muscles. After sessions of blood transfusion, they recover better and heal faster (if they were damaged before). The liver is also rejuvenated, which is almost the main internal organ of bloodsuckers.

Scientists say that "fresh blood" in itself is not an elixir of youth, but they have no doubt that in the foreseeable future new research will help develop advanced methods for rapid wound healing in the elderly.

Well, as for the obligatory attribute of all horror films and literary works about ghouls - large and sharp fangs, then this is too much. So if you meet such a person on the street - do not be alarmed: he just decided to show off and for this he visited the dentist's office.
