A 25-year-old boy unexpectedly turned to the Baldone police station (Latvia), who said: in 2001, while still a 14-year-old teenager, he had murdered his own father. True, not my own.

On Sunday, police were dispatched to the address where the young man lived immediately after the call. The man explained that 11 years ago he killed his stepfather (born in 1970), after which he buried his body near his home.

The police examined the place indicated by the man, and soon found human remains.

What is known about the applicant himself? The life of 25-year-old Peteris cannot be called easy, according to the program "Crime +". My father left the family and has been homeless ever since, my mother periodically brought “new dads” to the house. One of them, Roman, whom the woman met in a psychiatric hospital, stayed longer. Peteris hated Roman. A war for survival began in the family. Success was not on the side of the child: the mother loved the new roommate very much, so she allowed her child to be bullied, the neighbors say. Once Peteris was left alone with Roman - his mother again went to a special hospital. What happened between them is still not known. But it ended with the fact that Peteris killed his stepfather, dug a deep hole in the yard and buried the body there.

Pēteris explained to his mother who returned that Roman had met another woman and left. Mom died in 2004.

Now Peteris decided to obey, as he was tormented by nightmares: every night his stepfather came to him in a dream. The guy thought that repentance would help him.

Neighbors say only good things about Pēteris himself: despite the “white ticket”, the guy helped everyone in the neighborhood, lived quietly, worked as a security guard.

As part of the initiated criminal process, an expert examination was appointed, the suspect was placed in a pre-trial detention center. The motives and circumstances of the crime are being specified. However, most likely, he is declared insane.
