Over and over again, historians fall into the hands of objects that do not correspond to their historical era. This always baffles them, since they are unable to explain it. Here are just a few of these cases.

Package from the burgomaster

On August 26, 1912, the burgomaster of the Norwegian city of Ott Johan Nygard sent a packet to the capital's post office, which said: open in 100 years. Mr. Nygard was silent about the contents of the package. Norwegian and Swedish newspapers wrote about the action. The package was bulky, but light, sealed and sealed with sealing wax. He safely survived two World Wars and survived until the appointed date.

On the appointed day, in the presence of journalists and TV, the package was opened. Before the eyes of the spectators expecting sensations, the Norwegian flag and official documents of the magistracy, which were of no interest, were extracted. But it was not without a sensation. Among the paper trash were two newspapers from 1914! Hoax? Nigard did not have access to the metropolitan postal vault. In addition, according to the experts' opinion, the package has never been opened since it was sealed and sealed. The inscription on the package was made by the burgomaster's hand, which excludes its substitution by outsiders.

Greeting card from grandfather

Promotional video:

In the early 50s of the XX century, Rita Harsfeld, who lived in Louisville (USA), received a greeting card from her grandfather from Frankfurt with a view of the city. For many years, the postcard was kept in the family as a memory, until in 2002 it was accidentally revealed that it depicts buildings that were not yet in the 50s. The internet dispassionate reported that the postcard was printed in mass circulation in 1983.

More than a dozen witnesses have confirmed that they saw the postcard in the Harsfeld family before 1983. Graphologists are sure that the text on it was written by Rita's grandfather, who died in 1959. Experts examined the ink and concluded that its composition is identical to the ink produced in the 50s of the XX century.

Amazing prosthesis

At the end of the 19th century, a cemetery was moved in the suburbs of Marseille. The graves were opened more than a century ago. The physician who controlled the process was very interested in one of the skeletons, which had a prosthesis in the hip part.

The physician took the find and subsequently repeatedly showed it to his colleagues, whom it invariably caused amazement: they could neither manufacture nor implant such prostheses in the 19th century, not to mention earlier times.

Descriptions and drawings of the find, dated 1903, have been preserved. Today's doctors look at them indifferently: since the 1970s, the installation of such hip endoprostheses has been literally put on stream. But in the 19th century, doctors could not even dream of this.

Strange tooth

The skull found in Mexico is over a hundred years old. It is interesting in that it has a false tooth made of cermet - a material that appeared only at the end of the 20th century. Dentists confirm that the tooth was installed during a person's life. Moreover, they are confident that materials and tools from the late 20th century were used during the installation.

All these cases indicate that time travel is rare, but possible. Johan Nygard and Mr. Harsfeld, having briefly fallen into the future, returned back, bringing with them "souvenirs", one - the first newspapers they came across, the second - a postcard. As for the owners of the prosthesis and the sintered metal-ceramic tooth, these are, apparently, our contemporaries, who were much less fortunate: having "fallen through" into the past, they remained in it forever.
