Pine Cay is a small private island in the Caribbean, located in the northwestern part of the Caicos archipelago, next to Providenciales. It is part of the island state of Turks and Caicos. The area is about 10 km². Pine Cay is notable for a fairly rich flora - more than a hundred species of plants grow here, including several relict mahogany species.

On a regular flight between Miami and Nassau in the summer of 1968, Captain Robert Brush and co-pilot Trigg Adams flew just north of Andros Island, the largest of the Caicos Islands. After making visual contact with a tiny island known as Pine Cay (Pine Bay), the pilots noticed a regular rectangle in the shallow water below. They decided that these were the foundations of some building, the eastern end of which, at a distance of about a quarter of its length, was blocked by a strange inner wall.

Later, scientists found that the underwater structure was a rectangle of approx. 30 by 24 m, very accurately oriented along the east-west axis. The structure was covered with a thick layer of dark algae, under which, according to the researchers, they found perfectly processed limestone blocks about 1 m thick.

Scientists have designated this structure as a "temple".

In addition, the same Robert Brush, flying over the area west of the southern coast of the island, noticed strange outlines at the bottom, resembling a huge dark ring with a diameter of approx. 300 m and approx. 1 m wide. Inside it were two more concentric rings of approximately the same thickness. This mysterious object was located at a depth of no more than half a meter and at a distance of about 20 m from the coastline. Research carried out by scuba divers showed that the huge fragmentary preserved rings were made of a "three-row" layer of stone overgrown with all kinds of algae.

In total, scuba divers have at least fourteen artificial objects. According to eyewitnesses, these underwater structures, located at a depth of a little more than a meter, had walls "composed of large limestone blocks of an elegant square shape, tightly fitted to each other"; the walls were 1.3 m thick. Some of these structures were located close to each other, while the distance between others was about 8 km. The largest structure was 81 m long and 27 m wide and was divided into 3 separate halls or parts.

But who built all these structures, and when? Approximate dating shows that this land was on the surface about 12 thousand years ago - that is, before the Flood, and sank just after it … The structures, at least, show that people lived here and there was a civilization - rather complex structures.
