Do you have plans for February 16th? Because if this is something important, then we would advise you to postpone the decision of these cases a couple of days earlier. Who knows, maybe February 17 will never come. At the end of last year, the aerospace agency NASA announced that a very large space object was moving towards Earth. As it turned out later, this object is an asteroid, whose size is from 500 meters for 1 kilometer. The uninvited guest was named "2016 WF9".

More recently, we reported that the Earth "dodged" a truck-sized asteroid. And now the media are trumpeting about a new threat to the Earth. True, with this story, not everything is so simple yet, because the information available on the Web now contradicts each other. Therefore, before we start to panic, let's look at the situation in order.

In November last year, the aerospace agency announced the discovery of the asteroid "2016 WF9". Preliminary calculations have shown that the dimensions of the object can range from 500 meters to 1 kilometer in diameter. At that time, the space agency said that he knew the trajectory of the "2016 WF9" and did not pose any danger to the Earth. At the same time, it was written that at the point of closest approach to the Earth, this asteroid will be 51 million kilometers from it.

However, new information circulating in the media (including Russian and very large ones), referring to the same aerospace agency NASA, suggests that an asteroid falling to Earth is indeed possible. The exact place of the fall is unknown, but residents of the UK will be the first to see the object. On the NASA website itself, there is not a word about this.

The situation around this mysterious asteroid becomes even more confusing thanks to reports of a certain Damir Zakharovich Demin. Who Demin is and whether he exists at all is not known for certain. According to some reports, he is an employee of NASA. According to others, he is an ordinary conspiracy theorist. The second option becomes more plausible, given the statements that he makes and which some media refer to. According to Demin, NASA is openly lying to everyone about the asteroid "WF9":

“The object they call 'WF9' actually left the Nibiru system (yes, the very 'planet X' - ed.) In October last year and began to rotate around the Sun counterclockwise. From that moment on, it became known to NASA that the object would fall to Earth. But they are only talking about this asteroid now."

Demin says that if the asteroid falls to Earth, it can destroy a large city and summon megatsunami.

According to the same Demin, the object will fall to Earth on February 16, that is, a week earlier than the date indicated by NASA on its website, saying that the asteroid will fly past the Earth.

Here is what the NASA aerospace agency itself writes on its official website (information as of December 29, 2016):

“The trajectory of 2016 WF9 is well studied. The object does not pose any danger to the Earth in the foreseeable future."

In this case, I would like to believe the respected aerospace agency, not conspiracy theorists.
