Residents of Mordovia have begun to report more UFO sightings. The peak of complaints over the past few years was in August 2014, when, in less than a month, dozens of people reported that they had to observe unidentified flying objects in the sky.

On August 2, 2014, various city resources and social networks began to receive reports that at night over the city of Saransk there was an unidentified flying object of a triangular shape for an hour. Red lights periodically lit up on its body. When they were off, the object almost merged into the sky.

Witnesses suggested that the object was in low-Earth orbit, while it was huge. All attempts to photograph it on mobile phones or cameras ended in failure, because the electronics simply refused to work.

One of the eyewitnesses roughly depicted what he saw and drew the object's flight path:

This case was not the only one. A few days later, residents of several villages located 30-60 km. from Saransk we saw several luminous round flying vehicles in the sky. In all cases, eyewitnesses were able to make out only the lower part of the UFO data, which was very brightly lit.

On August 19, a resident of Saransk, Sergey Salikov, contacted the editorial office of Avufa.ru, who claims that he saw another UFO over the city:

- We sat on a bench near the house on Kovalenko street. We saw that blue lights were moving at great speed in the sky. The phenomenon was visible for only about a minute, after which the object quickly disappeared. The guys and I were shocked!

Surprisingly, in Moscow this month, many people also became eyewitnesses of unidentified flying objects. On August 2, local residents noticed 15 objects glowing in white. Mobile phones also refused to film anything in the sky.
