A group of researchers from the Siberian Tunguska Space Phenomenon Foundation, who returned from an expedition to the Evenk taiga in 2004, is sure that in 1908 aliens visited Earth
- The route was drawn up based on the results of the analysis of space imagery, which showed anomalies of clearly extraterrestrial origin in the form of traces of the fall of some celestial bodies, - says Yuri Dmitrievich. - We went to the Baykit district of Evenkia, in the vicinity of the village of Polygus. And, by the way, even ten years ago, an old Tunguska barge haule Alexander Kovatsky turned to us. According to him, in the 40s in about the same place he came across strange objects in the taiga.
They were black and seemingly stone blocks about two meters high, scattered over an area of about 300 square meters. "Something", judging by the descriptions, was very similar to a "flying saucer"! And this is in the zone of the Tunguska disaster! In 1997, we tried to find mysterious blocks from a helicopter - it didn't work. Apparently, the object has been overgrown with forest for fifty years.
Lavbin did not forget about Kovatsky's fantastic find. In July of this year, another expedition, equipped for long pedestrian crossings, flew to Evenkia in search of the "saucer". And in the end I came out to a hill covered with forest, surprisingly similar to the one described by Kovatsky. And indeed, from under the blue moss was a piece of some kind of black glossy block.
A piece was chipped off the wreck
It was not possible to determine on the spot what the mysterious object consists of. They picked off a few pieces and sent them for examination in Krasnoyarsk. Lavbin himself suggests that the blocks are "made" of iron silicide, a substance that is produced artificially and is used to coat the nozzles of some missiles.
A piece of the alien block Lavbin reverently shows us. The impression, to be honest, is ambiguous: on the one hand, it is exceptionally black, smooth and shiny. But we do not notice other signs of the alien and man-made origin of the piece.

More impressive are the finds made during one of Lavbin's previous expeditions in the Vanavara region, a place located near the epicenter of the Tunguska explosion. These are two heavy metal rods. One of them was fused into the rock and lay at a depth of one and a half meters. Another was lying on the surface. The rods are also notable for the fact that they supposedly do not lend themselves to mechanical processing, and the instruments with which they try to determine their composition fail.
And in the area between the floodplains of the Tunguska and Angara, Yuri Dmitrievich discovered a crater formed from the fall of a large body. Nearby there are several funnels of smaller diameter.
Lavbin assures that he also found the famous "Deer-stone" - a supposed fragment of the Tunguska meteorite, which could not be found for a long time. A piece was also split off from the stone - a larger one, weighing about 50 kilograms, and handed over for analysis.
"Blocks of an alien technical device", as well as craters and "Deer-stone", according to Lavbin, confirm his fantastic theory: the Tunguska explosion is the result of the collision of two cosmic bodies - an asteroid and a certain alien apparatus, with the help of which they shot down or smashed this asteroid, saving people from a much more powerful explosion in a densely populated area.
Yuri Dmitrievich has a dream: by 2008 - the centenary of the Tunguska phenomenon - to finally unravel its secret. And next year, another expedition headed by the restless Lavbin will go to the area of the explosion. Perhaps then the situation with the aliens will become even more clear.

What is "Deer-stone"?
Scientist Leonid Kulik assumed that the Tunguska meteorite was, after all, a meteorite, not an ice block, but fell apart before reaching the Earth. And we ought to look for its fragments. And in the spring of 1930, during a regular expedition, the local hunter Konstantin Yankovsky contacted the scientist and said that he had found a strange stone 2 meters long, a meter wide and 90 centimeters high in the disaster area. It had an unusual porous structure and was covered, as it were, with glaze. The hunter named the find "Deer-stone", and scientists - "Yankovsky's Stone". He did not mark the path to it and no one saw the other stone, no matter how they looked, assuming that the hunter had found a fragment of the Tunguska meteorite. Lavbin assumes that he found the same "Deer-stone" Yankovsky.

Aliens have nothing to do with it
- Frankly speaking, all Lavbin's hypotheses do not stand up to criticism. None of his finds have gone through a normal examination, none of his exhibits has been properly certified. His expeditions are "black archeology".
I myself adhere to the generally accepted theory: the so-called Tunguska meteorite is a block of ice that broke away from the comet Encke and exploded in the atmosphere.

On June 30, 1908, in the area of the Podkamennaya Tunguska River, at 0715 local time, a fireball flew across the sky. The flight of a celestial body was accompanied by a terrible roar, reminiscent of thunder. A monstrous explosion soon followed (with a capacity of 12.5 to 40 megatons), which knocked down trees over an area of about 2000 square kilometers.
In the 20s of the last century, four expeditions of the USSR Academy of Sciences headed by Leonid Kulik, a colleague of Academician Vladimir Vernadsky, visited the Evenk taiga. It was found that around the place where the Tunguska meteorite fell, the forest fell like a fan, in the form of a butterfly, and in the center some of the trees remained standing on the root, but without branches. The scientists did not find the crater and the meteorite itself, either.
Subsequently, in the center of the disaster, an increased growth of trees, mutations of young pine trees and sphagnum moss were found. This indicates a radiation release. The soil contains a large concentration of iridium, which is found on Earth in minimal doses. There is also a strong geomagnetic effect, which, according to many scientists, can only be generated by technogenic interference. The object was found on the sixth day
The expedition led by Yuri Lavbin took place from July 23 to August 3, 2004. A group of 12 people landed in the village of Baykit (Evenkia), rafted by boat to the mouth of the Nyurinda River towards the village of Polygus, where the researchers set up a base camp. Two groups of five, armed with magnetometers and military radiometers, went daily in search of blocks of "unknown black material" that Alexander Kovatsky, a barge hauleman from Podkamennaya Tunguska, saw in the 50s. The total search area was 300 square kilometers.
On the sixth day, the group, which included Lavbin, noticed a spruce forest to the side. People came closer and froze: under the rotten branches in two places peeped through a shiny black surface …
Whose cubes are these?
According to Lavbin, the find fully coincided in description with the "objects" seen by the barge haule Kovatsky 50 years ago: two blocks of the correct shape - natural cubes, glossy, black, protruding from the ground. The visible edge is about one and a half meters. It is possible that this is only the upper part, and the "structures" themselves go into the soil much deeper. It is possible that several more similar "objects" covered with earth are hidden nearby.
Lavbin chipped off several pieces of the "black material." At first glance, according to the researcher, it resembles iron silicide - a substance that can only be obtained artificially under terrestrial conditions.
Yuri Lavbin believes that this space image clearly shows the alien cosmodrome.
Only aliens go into battle
Yuri Lavbin has more arguments in favor of aliens. In 1996, a helicopter expedition of a tireless explorer visited the area between the Angara and Podkamennaya Tunguska rivers (approximately 59th parallel, 97th meridian) and discovered the so-called "launch pad" of an alien ship - a man-made impact on the soil with an area of 25 square kilometers in the form of an isosceles triangle …
“Probably a huge spacecraft took off from here and prevented the comet from hitting populated areas,” Lavbin says. - And 50 kilometers to the south in a straight line there is a huge 500-meter crater (60th parallel, 96th meridian).
Lavbin came to the conclusion that the cosmic body, presumably a comet, flew from west to east, in the Tomsk region, pieces began to break off from it. The largest one was attacked by an “alien ship”, which started from the interfluve of the Angara and Podkamennaya Tunguska and flew from north to south. An explosion occurred at a 10-kilometer altitude, which is why a crater was formed. Smaller pieces flew to Vanavara, and the "alien ship", apparently damaged, reached Polygus, where the blocks were found, and fell.
It is light at night at their cosmodrome
During the 1996 expedition, Lavbin set up base camp in the very center of the "launch pad" and discovered strange anomalies. Here the temperature jumps. The entire huge area is highly magnetized, in some places the background radiation is increased.
“One gets the impression,” says Lavbin, “that it was struck by lightning several kilometers across and of incredible power.
Another oddity: at night on the "launch pad" it is as bright as day, and the soil has an increased content of phosphorus and beryllium.
Black stones lit the film
We, of course, cannot swear that in the Evenk taiga there really are mysterious black blocks. It remains for now to take Yuri Lavbin's word for it. After all, the film on which the "object" was filmed turned out to be exposed. This, by the way, often happens among researchers of anomalous phenomena. And the Deer-stone - here it is, in front of you, lonely and so ridiculous in a swampy area.
Flakes from black blocks brought by Lavbin to Krasnoyarsk will be investigated on a spectrograph in the near future. If it turns out that they really consist of iron silicide, then Yuri Lavbin is right: the stones are space aliens.

- I'm afraid this is a stupid hoax. The Russian team at first categorically announced that it was going to look for the wreckage of the "alien spacecraft" - and on you! - a week later, they already claim to have found them.

- The Russian expedition was not, in the full sense of the word, scientific - an unbiased study aimed at finding out what really happened. They were going to prove their preconceived ideas … I'm not saying that the Russians did not find the "alien ship". I say that, firstly, it is extremely unlikely, and secondly, they are predisposed to such loud statements, so we should treat this information with a great deal of skepticism, be even more skeptical than is customary in such cases … whatever I've read about this story, the evidence they have is very weak. But I'm ready to see what these guys found.

- Well-known Dutch expert on the history of astronautics, Giirt Sassen, wrote to me and suggested that the Russians had found fragments of the Earth's space device, namely the remains of the Vostok-5 spacecraft, on which their two dogs flew. He just missed during landing by about 3500 kilometers and fell in the Podkamennaya Tunguska area … It would be nice to look at the photographs and figure out which of the fragments is really alien, and what is space debris that the Russians have scattered throughout Tunguska over the past 50 years (the Dutchman is clearly surpassed Lavbin in terms of assumptions - Ed.).

What is iron silicide?
Iron silicide is a combination of iron with silicon - a kind of anomalous substance that cannot arise on Earth by itself. Indeed, here iron prefers to react with oxygen and form oxides. Iron silicide can occur in an oxygen-deprived environment. For example, somewhere in space. But even such an event, scientists consider extraordinary. They do not even believe that meteorites from iron silicide can sometimes fall on the Earth.
However, this material is found. At least there is one undoubted evidence published in the authoritative specialized journal "Reports of the USSR Academy of Sciences" (1994, vol. 334, No. 1, pp. 73 - 76). The authors report on the study of a "large" piece of iron silicide dug out while digging a trench on the territory of the Chernihiv Architectural and Historical Reserve in September 1982. The size of this "large" find was only 65 by 22 by 10 millimeters. And it was "a fragment of the once existing larger elliptical body." The authors, professional geologists, seem to speak in the words of Lavbin, reporting that the piece was black, had a bright metallic luster and magnetic properties. It contained more than 10 percent silicon.
Two things are interesting: firstly, the conclusion that the object has either a meteorite or "technogenic space" origin. In other words, it was made in space by means of some kind of technology. The meteorite hypothesis had to be discarded soon, because other scientists - meteorite specialists - did not recognize the meteorite in the presented piece. And until now, many people believe that there are no iron silicide meteorites.
Secondly, as it was possible to establish, the "Chernihiv object" lay in a layer of soil, poured at the beginning of … XIX century. That is, not long before the Tunguska catastrophe happened. Flew in from Siberia, or what? Who knows …
It turns out that in any case, one and a half meter cubes of iron silicide found by Lavbin are of great scientific interest. By themselves. Even if they weren't made by the aliens.
Can humans make iron silicide on Earth? They can, they learned, for example, in the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, but with great difficulty. This is a success, says academician Vladimir Boldyrev. And he says in the newspaper "Science in Siberia" that it "should include the work on the synthesis of iron silicide, which made it possible to obtain a material from which you can make effective thermoelectric elements for direct conversion of electrical energy into heat, and vice versa.
