But their most amazing function is if you direct the mirror to a beam of light, then the pattern applied on the back side will be reflected. Moreover, the image becomes three-dimensional.
Some experts compare such mirrors to modern 3D cinemas. How such an effect was achieved in antiquity remains a big mystery.
When they began to be made for the first time, it is also unknown, but officially discovered, the very first mirror, dates back to 500 AD.
