Chinese martial arts expert Li Lingbing probably has the strongest neck muscles in the world. They are so strong that with their help he can not only support himself in weight, but even breathe while hanging in a loop.

Li, 49, from Lizhuang Village in China's Shandong Province, said he started learning kung fu when he was little.

“Although I am already a kung fu master, I am always looking for new challenges and new ways to discipline my body. Kung Fu is my life and it is very important to have some kind of challenge. Everyone knows about the kung fu masters who break concrete blocks or jump from tall buildings, but surviving being hanged is something new."

In the end, he decided to train his neck muscles to such an extent that he could survive, even being hanged by the neck. Li spent 10 years practicing various exercises that helped him solve the problem.

“It was a difficult task as it required serious neck muscle training, strict discipline and meditation. I make a noose, throw it on a tree, and then hang myself. Hanging in a noose, I do some exercises, after which I can free myself."

While Lee can easily survive the noose, he warns that this is a trick not worth trying at home.
